I always wondered why FUNimation only did the band soundtrack thing with a couple of the DBZ movies. I really loved it in Coolers Revenge, Lord Slug, and Broly. It gave those movies more of a cinematic feel in my opinion.

DBZ Coolers Revenge just came on TV today and I have to say the soundtrack was pretty amazing so I just had to look it up. My and my older brother used to watch the original Dragon Ball when we were younger and it really brings back a lot of memories. Dragon Ball is one of those old animes that they redid that they didn't make suck so I'm pretty happy that the newer generations will get to enjoy it as much as I did when I was younger. :)
The first "my open eyes see everything" is just awesome to hear with that specific music in the back. Just that one line grew to me listening to the whole song, which lead me to listening to other songs by them, which lead to me buying an album, which lead to me getting all of their other albums, which lead to me wearing this finger eleven tshirt I have on now, which lead to me buying a poster of them, which lead to me going to see them live, now I have no money. . . .

Alot of Anime people these days are just dumb. The last time I mentioned Dragon Ball Z at school I got laughed at. I know this anime started in the mid 80's and its old, yeah thats very true, but also, this is STILL one of the few anime's with a somewhat interesting story line and characters that aren't highly annoying or highly emo like characters in many of the newer anime's.
These rock groups should have a bigger audience, since of course the songs DBZ use are better than all crap garbage like AC/DC or other groups where lyrics are annoying or the instrument usage gets repetative.... etc.
Groups like Finger Eleven, Breaking Point, American Pearl, and others with music that actually are 'different' and I can listen to their albums more than just once

Okay, so I went to school and I drew the 1 star Dragon Ball on my hand. Most of the Anime people I know we're like "What's that?" I told them that its a Dragon Ball from Dragon Ball Z. Most of them said "Whats that?", some said "That show looks weird", and few said "Oh, I remember watching that".
The only people that actually watch Dragon Ball Z are guys. Me and like 4 girls actually watch it and like it.
All three series of Dragon Ball are amazing. They are my favorite shows ever. It's so great!!! Action, anime, mystery, cute characters, amazing music, what else could ya want?!

Without a doubt DBZ is the best anime out there......ever!! Yes I said EVER!! W/O DBZ the anime generation would not be what it is today. I have my own favorites list of anime but DBZ will always be in a class of it's own due to it's sheer impact to the anime genre and what it's done for it's popularity. While DBZ has set the premise for most fighting animes, its certainly not the best. It gave birth to a new style of fighting dealing, but as far as plot, character development, ect. it's not very good.

If I said all that, that would make me a DBZ tard because all animes have flaws including DBZ. However it is all generated with opinions on what they find is the best or not. For me DBZ is definintely in my top favorite animes but their are animes that I like better which are more interesting to me. I respect DBZ tho.

DBZ did start up the shounen genre and a lot of manga artists are inspired by DBZ. However you can't say someone not a real anime fan for not liking and respecting DBZ. Their are a lot a people who don't like it, but their were animes at that time that classic so it not just DBZ.

Without a doubt DBZ is the best anime out there......ever!! Yes I said EVER!! W/O DBZ the anime generation would not be what it is today. I have my own favorites list of anime but DBZ will always be in a class of it's own due to it's sheer impact to the anime genre and what it's done for it's popularity. DBZ is the greatest anime ever!! Anyone who's got a problem with that obviously has not been watching anime for long or is just a plain idiot. Even new anime fans give credit where it;s due!

While DBZ has set the premise for most fighting animes, its certainly not the best. It gave birth to a new style of fighting dealing, but as far as plot, character development, ect. it's not very good.

@JSP21413 Its not, Nothing can compare to DBZ, not Naruto, not One Piece, and CERTAINLY not Bleach. Dragon Ball is the "God" of animated series. It leads and makes the rules and everything else follows. It is the Michael Jackson, The Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Hulk Hogan, etc. I could go on for ages. DBZ FTW. And especially since its been out since the eighties. Hell will freeze over before anything can be as great as DBZ

@infernochidori Well DBZ is a great anime and one I really respect, but I wouldn't consider it as number the best anime ever. If I said all that, that would make me a DBZ tard because all animes have flaws including DBZ. However it is all generated with opinions on what they find is the best or not. For me DBZ is definintely in my top favorite animes but their are animes that I like better which are more interesting to me. I respect DBZ tho.

@Gurimmjaw I get what you are saying man cause right now Naruto is my number one, but I have always been a DBZ fan and nothing will change it. I may like Naruto more right now, but DBZ has is, always, and will forever be my number one favorite anime of all time! It may not have been perfect, but its revolutionary and will be remembered throughout the ages. You cannot be a true anime fan without liking and respecting DBZ. I respect your opinion man and I definetly see where you are coming from

@infernochidori Well for me its like Bleach and One Piece as far as the shounen genre goes for animes. I am still a DBZ fan and even buy all those horrible DBZ games that come out every year. DBZ did start up the shounen genre and a lot of manga artists are inspired by DBZ. However you can't say someone not a real anime fan for not liking and respecting DBZ. Their are a lot a people who don't like it, but their were animes at that time that classic so it not just DBZ.

@infernochidori Well, just about everyone respects DBZ. DBZ was what got me into anime and was the first anime I ever watched. And yes a lot of manga artists are inspired by DBZ. When I was 9, I had always wanted to watch the DBZ movies but my parents wouldnt buy/rent them. Im now 19 about to go into my 2nd yr of college. found a site online with all the movies. Finished this movie 5 mins ago. that movie was bomb! and i was so excited when I heard Deftones in the background!!! I like this song. Never heard of it. Cant wait to see who Brolly is, I mean, its about time!!!

no, Finger Eleven didnt sing change.... It was deftones, just look it up here on youtube and you'll know. I am tryin to remember when this was played in the movie though. I think it was when goku woke up after eatin the sensu bean.
