Walt that was nice to video that brake coming off and I didn't know that there was a spring in there, thanks for telling us. they are made the same as truck and trailers that run with air the same thing.

So what is pushing it back ? is it under spring pressure to return the piston..? I understood some of that commentary that time, ha ha. The speakers on the radio remind me of that Police officer in one of the James Bond Movies with Roger Moore, JW I think he was called, he was very funny...

You hit the nail right on the head paul. It is a big spring. I have removed many to replace them or clean them white performing a C.O.T.S. (Clean Oil Test Stencil) on the Air Brake valves and pistons
