yeah i use to work for home depot.I put my 2 weeks in.I work night time with alot of dumb ass fuck's.the managers where just dumb assholes.I made $9.00 to brack my back puting paint away.If u think home depot is a good place to work haha no it is not.I work my ass off for them.then they give me shit about dumb ass shit.yeah bracking my back and working with dumb ass work's and dumb ass managers.no thank not for $9.00.

In real estate nothing is done until the paperwork is signed so no one should have been buying other houses until the check was cashed. This is in Detroit why would any business want to open there unless it is a moving and storage business. I like how the story of Home depot saying they don't think it is a good idea to risk opening a store there is followed by a story about a big business going under.

I work at HD, in a shithole town where it's one of the better jobs, which is a sad thing in itself. It's an easy job that doesn't pay enough, sure they suck, it's a corporation what do you expect. Don't come in and bitch about it and threaten me with "I'll just go to Lowes" I don't give a damn, hell I'll give you directions if you need them.

Fuck Home Depot. I worked for their sorry asses for six months. They hired me for a lot position paying only $7.85 p/hour. They said after 3 months I'd get a raise. I didn't. Plus the lot guys had to literally do most of the store's work. I wasted 6 months of my life busting my ass to the bone for that evil shitty corrupt organization which cares nothing for its employees. Yes, most of the people I talked to there were as miserable and disillusioned as me. Fuck home depot in the ass!

I work for home depot . They don't pay well at all. From working there at the low wages they pay and awful 25 cent rasies a year me and my family have racked up $36,000 in credit card debt and are on food stamps. I work full time and still can't make ends meet. Try raising a family on a starting wage of $8.50 an hour and you tell me how well your getting paid.

A really screwed up place it turned out to be after working there 4 years . what's funny is before they let me go me and my wife bought a hud home that needed fixing up. We have spent $12,000 at lowes now . Home depot shot themselves in the foot there and they are paying my unemployment .

I thought about ITT and others like them but their cost is like $17,000 a year. My community college is about $3,000 a year leaving me money to live on . Anyways good luck. Hope your parents get the home fix up . it's a pain yesterday I was out side fixing ac ductwork .

I've shopped at Home Depot and even worked in some Home Depots as a contractor and I have to say it's one of the shittiest store chains out there. in many sores the employees are rude, the managers suck. Bottom line is they built too many goddamn stores, it's all about greed greed. I was happy to see some real estate for sale recently, and among the sales were former Home Dildo stores HA! HA! Close em all down

@inbredagogo Okay, I work for Home Depot. and i can tell you that the store your going to must just suck, cause at the Home Depot I work at, Customer Service is priority over everything, except for safety, which Home depot values 300%. Contractors are treated like royalty, cause they drive the store s sales in every department. When I read things like this, i am kinda surprised by it. Im not a manager, Im not an assistant manager, Im an associate.

The people In the Depts are usually great. If I was a manager at one of these stores.. I would tell the check out people.. All you have to do, is take the customer's money, and make sure to thank them for shopping here.. If you can't do that.. Pack your shit and leave now!

I dont and never have worked at Home Depot but I do work at Lowe's and after reading all the comments about managers they all seem to have a lot in common with my job. They tried to fire me last week because my raise was coming up over some bull shit fine written rule that no one follows. All of the store level managers say they're on you're side but they are so macro managed and all they are is corporate puppets.
