There was an indigenous tribe that populated Australia before the group we know as the "Aboriginals", wiped out by the current traditional land owners, disease and famine. I met the lead singer of this group in Maroochydore.. Does anyone know his name.. i was an extra in a film filmed at the Airport.. Being a brithish afro carribean he looked at me and asked me.. So what tribe are you from... I laughed and said i was from England.. I will never forget that day.. Then months later we bumped into each other again in Brisbane fortitude valley where he was part of a march against the death of a aborignal brother...
