You got the nut and saddle mixed up buddy. The nut is up above the first fret and saddle is at the bridge. Nice playing!

I have a Martin DC15E, and the sound is different than other Martin guitars but beautiful, warm and crisp, very similar to this one. Great guitar even though doesn't have a spruce top.

Your thinking of the 00015. This is the 00015M which has some upgraded features like the bone nut and saddle, vintage tuners and inlaid rosette.

At my local Guitar Center. Being it was a lefty, I guess it had sat around the store for awhile, and they were just looking to get rid of it. I still can't believe they cut the price that much! Oh well, their loss is my gain. :-)

@ gfmgma - There is only one end pin - there is no strap button on the heel. Most acoustic guitars come without a strap button. You can have one added for a few bucks at most guitar stores or do it yourself.
