Watched the last episode (S4-13)

What if all the Red Johns are, or have at some point been, Kristina's lovers? That all these deaths were something she asked of them...And this time, when he realized the police were coming,he refused to stay, and so she killed him? That would explain the "he had to go" comment.

Also, I think Kristina is trying to get closer to jane, maybe to get him to become RJ at some point.

@BramB96 Thats pretty much not possible ;) At the end of S04e13 you can see Red John sitting right next to the blind woman (dont know the name right now) while she is calling Patrick. So Red John must be someone else ;)

The Mentalist could be a much better series and stand above all those crime series like "ncis, csi" if they would focus more on the Red John Ark

@manadar maybe but i think after one or two seasons it would become boring because it would be always the same. i like the way they deal with the storyline

@manadar Completely agree. It's about the only thing that slows it down imo. A perfect example is a lawyer show called the Good Wife, it has its different lawyer stories every episode but always includes part of the main story in every episode, each season many changes and surprises happening.. which is why for me it's a superior show to Mentalist.

@zahermubayed i am sure that season 4 will not be the last season. bruno heller the creator of the series said that the finale of season 3 will be the most important scene until the end of the show. he also said that the season 4 finale will not be the end of this story ;)

@shelbyfrisk the one when she got kidknapped is the last ep of season 2, and they say it doesn't look like she was kidknapped because she packed a bag and her passport, but jane is not convinced. the next one is the first of season 3. I hope i helped! it is soooooo obvious that jane cares a lot about kristinna.
