Lions are very kind when they kill their prey, they suffocate it before eating it unlike the Wild Dogs and the Hyenas. The only thing that bugs me is the screaming but it's better than us hunting it.

Actually 1) prey generally dies quicker when killed by hyenas or wild dogs than by lions 2) Other lions will often start eating, whilst the animal is being suffocated, hence it is being eaten alive, but they do so more slowly than animals that use this method to kill.
