my parents' friends had just bought a brand new 1956 Plymouth Belvedere station wagon, and it was equipped with an RCA 45 rpm record changer. way before 8-tracks and cassettes were invented. we were driving up to Lake Winnipesaukee NH and playing Perry Como's "Hot Diggety" but every time we turned a corner, the record would go "zzzzzzzzzzzzzipppp!!"
