This kit it so useful. I got it around 11 years ago and it made me jump into LEGO technic so big that I pre-ordered two of the Original Mindstorms. I still use the piston and valve from this kit. the movement of the grabber is rather ingenious too.
Yes I have made a larger tank with the FISCHERTECHNIK sets... Have you seen my PBEUMATIC AIR MOTOR? - see - "Bills' Creations - Lego Technic Air Motor"...
I have a ton of yellow ones, some blue ones and red ones... Spread out in several kits. I also plan on doing a REGULATED AIR PUMP controlled by NXT computer SOON. I got a apparatus that is a AIR PRESSURE TRANSDUCER SWITH designed for NXT. I am going to use it to invent a PUMP for my LEGOS that is controlled by computer and then gives a constant air pressure. When the pressure goes down it will AUTOMATICALLY turn on the pump to pump more air into it... It is going to be WAY COOL... Bill
bill...andy again, just loving your videos they always seem to make me laugh and recently intrige me =] but I would never have enough patience or time to build these... I was impressed with the pneumatic stuff you build, is that like an actuator?
Well, an actuator is a pretty broad kinda thing. There are electronic and electro mechanical actuators. I guess you could call this a PNEUMATIC ACUATOR where by the switch causes the clasp to shut!!! Glad you are enjoying the videos! THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO MAKE YOU LAUGH!!! HA HA... Be Well... Bill
Thanks for the fine comments! I do like to take a model and if it is ADVENTURE related make a kinda story. It makes it fun for me and really adds spice to the model and showing of it. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS!!! Be Well... Bill
Thanks for the comments! Yes indeed! This frogman is way cool!!! He even has flippers and has very colorful stickers (I didn't show the front side in this video). Be Well... Bill
Thanks for the comments! I may do a separate video on the CD ROM!!! This is a really super duper set and you have to admit that this is a WONDERFUL model!!! Be Well... Bill
HA HA - the package weighed a TON!!! It will indeed take forever - but OH WHAT FUN!!! I'll have to figure out how to display it. I don't know if it will hang or not. I'll figure it out slowly... Talk about a BIG project!!! Be Well... Bill
About ,52. Is that a jet engine in the background???

raggee21 3 years ago
The pneumatics are AIR pistons that move when air is put into them under pressure or sucked out of them... HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! Bill

AIR TANKS RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but not the stickers on them

You are absolutely right. I deliberatily left the WHEELS off as it distracted from the way I wanted to show the sub - as a WATER BORN VEHICLE... Bill
