Thank you for posting this. My landlord forgot his combo and we had this hanging on the door for several months. We needed to get it off because homes appearing vacant have been getting broken into (2 of the 6 I visited with my realtor last week had had the door kicked in and were vandalized--these were nice homes in nice neighbor hoods). I actually used a glossy cardstock flier that came in the mail, cut several skinny tabs and used those. It was a little more tricky but it worked.
That was the best instructive video on lockboxes that I have seen. A lady at my work challenged me to open one for her recently (she forgot the combo) and I was really struggling to figure out the method. Just need to make the tool now and the mystery should be solved! Thanks for the help!
Hey man thanks for the info ,I jut but my new condo & one of this was in the door for months i don't now how to open or call some one,but whit a razor blade i cut in a shape like your tool & i open the lock ! ,just you have the filing wen your tool go more deep the the normal wen you tour the wheel whit the numbers,thanks
Hey, I did it! I had a shurlock key box that was on a door. Nobody had the code to open it. All I had was the hpc Extractor tool. Taking my time I could feel when I got the right number, the Extractor tool would slightly turn the wheel and go deeper. GREAT video man!! Saved me lots of Aggravation. BTW, the house had 21 smartkey locks. after I got the key out, it was all good!!!!!!
