Dear Nargis, It is nice to see this video. I can understand 50 % of it. I am from Baltistan and now a days living in The Netherlands. I feel really pleasure to see our common shared culture. I love our culture. I wish I can visit these areas. Thanks for sharing this video. Please keep uploading such nice stuff

Budhists???? If they are from Ladakh sure. But if these guys are from Baltistan than they are Muslims and NOT Budhist! The Tibetans in Pakistani Baltiyul converted to Islam long ago there are absolutly no Budhists there, I'm afraid you are ill informed or suffereing from wish-full thinking.

The Tibetans from Pakistani Baltistan are Muslims converted some centuries ago by Persians, the same applies to western Ladakh (Gilgit area) although the vast majority of Ladakhi remain Budhist there are NO Budhists anymore among the Pakistani Tibetans, only Muslims.

This song and the actors are Ladakhis, not Baltis. My family is mixed from Ladakh & Baltistatan so I know about this all... So in this video all actors are Ladakhis, and most of them Buddhists.

Yes you are right I have to apologise to you I reacted to quickly without reading the info properly, I'm sorry. My mistake was caused that I googled up Baltistan Youtube and this vid showed up, off-course the google link was reffering to some comments mentioning Baltistan and not the video content itself, if I would have read the comments and your info above the page first I should have noticed that. @nargisline Thanks! Muslims or Buddhists, we have the same blood of the Tibetan emperors who ruled from China in the East to parts of Afghanistan in the West, Xinjing in Tarim Basin in the North to parts of India in the South! Sadly, we are now drifting away from each other.
