This man likes to scream untruths. 1 John 1:9 says if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. READ YOUR BIBLE AND REPENT.
I got deceived by this man. I only watched a slight part of this video. Matt 16:24 speaks of leaving all to follow Christ, that means turning away from sin and accepting you are a sinner (Rms 3:23) and need Him (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Catholics are not Christians. We are justified by faith alone (Eph 2:8-9). No man can forgive sins. Only Christ can 1 Tim 2:5. Not Mary, she was a sinner too.

I understand a bit of what this guy is preaching about. my own pastor is calvinistic and gives us rehashed Macarthur teaching but i keep feeling that the living Christ is hidden behind the theology.
This is a prime example of what can happen if we don't let the bible interpret itself. Pastor john macarthur is a very godly man who is very serious about the gospel. He is very dynamic in his knowledge of the gospel. True Christians need to quit beating each other over the head with scripture claiming the others the anti christ. If pastor macarthur is using scripture to bring a message you can't use other scripture to refute the message. That my friends is a contradiction. That is a problem!
I don't trust pastors who feel the need to shout. Just because they are loud, it does not mean they are right. John MacArthur knows of joy in the heart, the joy of knowing your are saved, in spite of yourself. We serve Jesus because of our free gift, not in order to get it.

@YaajBoy3210 In this passage what does the "cross" represent? It represent death, when you take up your cross your willing to go to the very end even if its an shameful death. Because in their time the cross was the worst way to die. It was a shameful death. So when you have denied yourself and follow Jesus and carry your cross, it simply mean your willing to give it all up for Jesus even if you are to die, you're willing to following Jesus.

I have no idea who this man is but he managed to set off alarm bells in my mind, which I will take as the Holy Spirit warning me to steer clear of him. John MacArthur is one if not the one, best expository teachers there is. I have listened to many, but always go back to John's. One hour with John, you learn what might take 2 months for another pastor's teaching, and still you might no learn so much.

What John Mac preached is the Gospel. God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins, so that we may enter Heaven. Therefore, our sins are not seen before God (ie forgiven), as we are presented to Him enrobed in the purity of Jesus Christ. Our own works can't get us there.
If our sin was taken into account, then we could forget getting into Heaven, because sin has no place in the presence of the Almighty. Thats the whole purpose of the Gospel! So that we may be reconciled to God!

I got deceived by this man. I only watched a slight part of this video. Matt 16:24 speaks of leaving all to follow Christ, that means turning away from sin and accepting you are a sinner (Rms 3:23) and need Him (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Jesus is the only way to Heaven. Catholics are not Christians. We are justified by faith alone (Eph 2:8-9). No man can forgive sins. Only Christ can 1 Tim 2:5. Not Mary, she was a sinner too.

John MacArthur is one if not the one, best expository teachers there is. I have listened to many, but always go back to John's. One hour with John, you learn what might take 2 months for another pastor's teaching, and still you might no learn so much.

It's important to watch out for false prophets, don't get me wrong, but if all the time these preachers spent cutting each other down was actually spent preaching the gospel, the church would be a thousand times stronger. No one is 100% right in their interpretations, nor should they claim to be, but instead of destroying the work of the devil (which is what Jesus came to do [1 John 3:8]), so many leaders in the church have turned against each other.

What John Mac preached is the Gospel. God sent His Son Jesus to die for our sins, so that we may enter Heaven. Therefore, our sins are not seen before God (ie forgiven), as we are presented to Him enrobed in the purity of Jesus Christ. Our own works can't get us there.
If our sin was taken into account, then we could forget getting into Heaven, because sin has no place in the presence of the Almighty. Thats the whole purpose of the Gospel! So that we may be reconciled to God!

God predestined, chose, drew, called, elected. Look up those words along with their present-tense meanings (predestinate, choose, draw, call, elect,) and then you will know. Further, this man has not read Mac's book, "The Gospel According to Jesus," which calls for a life of obedience.
