it's a playback, he could sing it perfectly if he wanted. you can here the double sync in the back, most bands have the dubsync but not that loud. therefore it's either a mistake or playback. He probably didn't want to stress his vocals. I sing in a band and we do playbacks all the time. of course, we're no Tokio Hotel but I'm pretty sure it's a lip sync, it's too perfect.
