  • Fantastic.

  • To take mythical stories like the bible litteraly - that's insane!

  • The wolf doesnt need the rabbit to beleive in him, nor does he need to heed an attempt at apatheticly aimed humor from "Marie"

  • i wonder if i could become a sex slave for 2 rubber clad european women?

  • One of the most brilliant pieces on youtube... EVER!!

  • I got to subscribe after that one. Brilliant!

I'll be your slave if you pay off my loans ;)

That reply to "An Invitation" and the Beauty one are awesome as well. Thank you

  • I am so sad there is not a response video to this.

  • You addressed Leviticus - one of the 5 books of the old testament, written by Moses. Those are Hebraic laws, not Gentile. The Jews are to live by those laws as it names them specifically. As far as seafood, only fish with scales are Kosher. Shellfish and catfish are examples. Cloven hoofs are what livestock were to be eaten, no rabbits, squirrels etc. Turkeys and chickens are allowed.

  • ...so I can still own Canadians? Sweet.

  • What is the big deal about owning Canadians?

    Buy your neighbor.

  • With the falling American dollar, Canadians will be owning us before long. (Which begs the question: if I sell my daughter into slavery to a Canadian, he'll pay me in Canadian dollars, right?)

  • "Levititus"? It's Leviticus. Lol.

  • Yah yah, that's right, make fun of the Swedish girl's pronunciation... XD

  • Marie, you are cute and acute :)

    have a great day!

  • HAhAHA! I loved this!! What a sense of humor!! Your videos are funny, quirky & force people to think, which I really like. Hats off to you, Marie!:)

  • *blush* Thank you.

  • You have a great, dry sense of humour. Also, I am from Canada and you could own me for awhile. I was thinking maybe for a long weekend or something...

  • Well I DO need my lawn mowed... but I think my boyfriend would be kind of upset if a Canadian were to occupy our couch for a whole weekend. :)

    Thanks though! *blush*

  • You should check out Theologikos's videos he said he got some Swedish slaves cheap, but they died and he needs some new ones.

  • Cool.

  • Homosexuals are still looked down on because of the internal problems that gaydom has. Instead of attacking the bible you need to look at yourself which is part of what the bible does.

  • I am not sure I understand you correctly, so if this answer does not satisfy you, then let me know. :)

Personal values differs between cultures and it differs between eras of time. The bible is one of the texts that has influenced us greatly, and it is one (maybe the only?) reason why any other sexuality than the heteronormative one is frowned upon.

I am not sure what you mean with your last sentence (English is not my first language) but maybe you can elaborate.

  • Hello, I'm not a religious fanatic but I try. Your quotes were taken out of context if you haven't been told that already. Like things with slaves back in that day it was better to make people slaves instead of letting them starve. It is kinda like it is better to make somebody go to work instead of have them homeless.

  • I know. But in the same way, quotes are used in a similar way to defend oppression of women and homosexuals (to name a few). It's important to remember, that a quote from the bible needs to be interpreted through the eyes of their time (as you say), and I think this "letter" is a good example of that.

  • Oh, but these days I guess we should just let them starve, or do you actually follow that and force the poor people to work for food?

  • "...why can't I own Canadians?" ROFL (from a Canadian) Brilliant stuff.

  • "god is fraud" Period. Why waste time talk about god? Well I care about sh~t coming out of my ass than god.

  • Ok, that is your opinion. I can't say I share it, but ok.

  • Leviticus 23:3, Exodus 35:2 and Exodus 34:21 say that working on the 7th day is not allowed and in Numbers 15:32, 36 a man is stoned for gathering sticks on the 7th day.

Do you show equal opposition to sunday workers as you do to those who engage in homosexual acts? Why are these parts of the bible I mentioned not just as important?

  • I hope you realized the entire letter is irony.

(Or I misunderstood your comment, English is not my first language.)

  • Sorry I misunderstood a comment you made on a different video which caused me to misunderstand the first minute of what you were saying, and I hastily commented without watching the whole video. I've been arguing with theists for hours and I commented a bit prematurely there sorry. I realised moments after clicking that I should really watch the whole thing first. Oops!

  • Hehe, you are excused. :) This video was made to comment on the judgemental religious YouTubers that commented on an earlier video on mine (about gay marriage.) If you read the description, there you will see my philosophy about religion and God.

  • I love this letter! It's good that you're here to remind us that not all those who believe in God are dogmatic religious zealots. Thanks for posting this.

  • Hehe, thank you. ^^ I am glad my point came through clear and loud.
