@scottchalfant1989 that's because the heel hook is one of the most painful if not the most painful submission in jujitsu and he tapped fast because your very likely to ether brake your heel when it is applied or badly sprained and its a long term healing process fight again in 3 to 6 months or fight again in 3 to 4 years your choice could be 5 years actually

@787Rs The heel hook is not the most painful submission but it is probly the most dangerous for the reason that you can easily wreck your opponents knee... It actually isn't allowed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments anymore... you can only do it in MMA.

@787Rs The heel hook is dangerous because it tears up your knee, not because it breaks your heal. Even if it did break your heel, that wouldn't be a very big deal compared to all the ligament damage in your knee.
