  • IM not really good at trucks but just a question,

Those big american trucks who are flat at the front, in many movies they make like "Dooooo Doooo" and then BOM they destroy soemthing. They are used movies often. But their flat, thats whats makes em scary.

  • wtf... trucks?

  • brill pics some more please

  • The German state today systematically uses torture and assassination to shut down everyone complaining immediately. Examples are Heiner Gehring ( author ) or Uwe Barschel. My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during five and a half years and then was assassinated. Because of our book and homepage linked on my channel. I had recorded more than 100 videotapes documenting this. Anybody who dares to tackle the German human rights abuses?

  • go up to your URL bar, put a Q between the words you and tube and then press enter or click go

  • some awesom pics my friend...I LOVE AUSSIE ROADTRAINS!!! the longest ive seen here in canada i think, is the superbee,i think they are two 48 or 53ft trailors.thanks for posting!!

  • Dagegen sehen unsere lkw`s aus wie Lego Zubehör!!!

  • Ha, you've there nice mix of european and american "prime movers" - which of them are better? smaller ones from Europe or big ones from USA?

  • I think this only depends on how easy and cheap you can get service quantities.

and for sure one the cumsumption of diesel.

European trucks also can have about 700HP.

6cyl engines from Europe can have about 550HP too.

  • Sure, It's not about power, but... comfort and fuel consumption...

BTW - I live in Europe and I often see "euro" trucks - but without those kangaroo bars (sometimes they have chrome bull bars which serve as a mount for extra lights and as a decoration) - and they look soo diffrent with those massive bumpers :D

BTW - american manufactuers stopped producing cabovers (for tractor trailers), an I right? Since I see lots of them here...

  • The Europian trucks have cleaner engines and better miles to the gallon (well volvos do)

  • the euro trucks are useless. I was driving a new euro 4 500, towing a milk tanker. In two weeks it blow an inter cooler then two weeks later it went through a turbo. With this being a new truck they didn't have a new turbo spare so they removed one from another truck in the yard and put it on. The mechanic was great but said he had never removed one before and at 3in the morning did a great job. Give me a kennie or freightliner and day.

  • you just can't fucking drive like a sebsible person, i bwt your a QFM driver AKA a cowboy.

  • you wouldn't know what your talking about cum stain. if you can't have people talk about their experiences on your page then wait until you grow up and start this page again. Just because it's not what you want to hear you think you can throw insults around.

  • STUPID

  • It's called "RoadTrains". In Australia they haven't railroads ans trains.

  • Are you kidding?

We have trains in Australia! Our trains that transport Iron Ore happen to be the longest in the world!

Look it up if you don't believe me.

  • $ 10's say P.Govesis & Sons trucks are better then all of them

  • Just some crap of a car.

  • 10 $ ses ur a cop

  • $10 says your completely wrong.

$10 says you dont know what you are on about.

  • who cares

  • brillaint pictures mate, could've put some music in the background though lol but good job :)

  • find some music.

  • no music no good :(

  • @SaleMe93

Yeah, right! No matter how good the video without music does not.

  • How come they all have Moose bars on them? andd where is this?

  • Well its australian so they are kangaroo bars, and because kangaroos would fuck up one of those trucks.

  • they are actually called BULL-BARS

  • I know. But in Aussie they are kangaroo bars.

  • i am an aussie u idiot and they arent called kangaroo bars they are called bull-bars or roo-bars not kangaroo bars

  • yeah mate of course the trucks goin to be protected if you have a bull bar, my first comment was in reference to not being equiped with one.

And by the way i heard of a guy driving a brand new T-904, he hit a kangaroo that went up underneath the truck causing around $20,000damage-no shit. Not exactly sure what was affected underneath the truck to cause the damage though. But i guess this only happens on rare ocassions however

  • Yep... thats right - no doubt a bull bar protects the truck (except the spotlights)...

I did however hear that roos go under and damage cables and fuel lines but it is EXTREMELY rare.

I actually bought both my trucks (Kenworth T-908 and Western Star 6900) without bull bars so that i could buy the biggest, most solid one i can find - I like to know i have the best cause it is safety...

I hit uncounted roos and never had any severe damage - touch wood...

    Keep truckin....

    James

  • kangaroos dont fuck up these trucks they just splatter them cows and camels and other big animals like that would fuck the front of these trucks. and i drive trucks and hit kangaroos all the time so i know wat happens to them

  • buddy, i'm pretty sure if u hit a decent size kangaroo at speed, it wouldn't just splatter all over the grill, it'd also leave you with a fairly hefty repair bill. A kangaroo can definitrly "fuck up" a truck.

  • yeah mate they can if they go under the truck and rip out fuel lines or hit driveline or stuff like that but in a bonneted kenworth i can hit a pretty big roo and all it does is just splatter everywhere and make a mess

  • I still tend to disagree with you beacause even though your in a bonneted truck, without a bull bar there isn't much thats protecting the intercooler, radiator etc and like i said , if your a travelling at speed and you come in contact with a decent size roo, you would be left with more to worry about than a messy grill. Thats my opinion anyway, unless you can provide any physical evidence? And by the way, I didn't realise you were able to get your truck license at 15......

  • yeh u will do a bit of damage if u dont have a bullbar but if u do you dont do much damage. and my litte brother is 15 not me i just use his account because i dont have my own im 22 and i do drive trucks

  • nah... gotta disagree... I don't drive trucks for a living (selling dirt bikes is my profession) but i do have the license and drive for my brother-in-law whenever i can cause i love it.

I usually drive a Kenworth T-908 or a Western Star 6900 (Constellation series) and when driving in W.A's outback at night hitting roos is unfortunately part of it. Driving at 100 to 110 km/h and hitting any size of roo doesn't do major damage - the worst thing that ever happened was smashing up a spotlight.

  • mate i %100 agree with u i drive roadtrains from perth to the pilbara and kimberly in northern W.A and the most damage i do to my truck when i hit a roo is smash a driving light or 2

  • Mind you - hitting a roo without a bull bar or roo bar would do damage but with one no need to worry.

Thats why they are called roo-bars they are designed for hitting roos - thats why they use 8mm thick steel and reinforce it with 100mm tubular (hollow) bars going horizontally in front of the radiator.

As for the underneath of a truck - things are pretty ship shape - tubes and cables are very well protected...

So no - it would '@#&$ up' a truck... if you are rightly equipped...

  • some music would be nice

  • that's an impressive collection, some of the best left till the end

  • Nice pix! Y'all got some ugly tractors down under though!

  • these are realy fantastic and long trains for the roads! I realy like them. WOW!

  • That's a good variety of shots, goes to show not all Aussie trucks are Kenworth roadtrains with bullbars!

  • aussie's have some nice rigs over there, cool i like the big bars on the front, makes them look tough

  • Hi my husband & i drive the truck in 1 of your photos .. Tolls truck with a fridge van & a taughtliner. it is a kenworth 501 we do triples Adel, Darwin each week in her. Keep up the good work . Great pics.

  • yeah nie work, some nice shots here... Thanks for posting them for everyone
