my nan used to do the same thing back in the day not in my time though. they would fry a person if they did that in todays world. god forbid someone leve the there cat outside on the doorstep today as well. but thats the way things were done at one time cant have 5 or 6 other littens runningg around. this dose sound crewl but before they could open there eyes they would be in a bag and well you all know the rest.

OMG!! It's true...it was the Newfie way...so cruel but accepted. I hope our pets are spaded & neutered now that people have begun to realize animals do feel fear, pain & suffer as humans do....it's ludacris to think "god" gave us domination over animals therefore allowing us to torture & inflict pain & suffering.
