i'm extremely picky when it comes to boots. you'll never see me wearing bulky, bikersih, and cowboyish boots. and you're too harsh on dr martens. yes most of their boots look awful but they have the classic 1914 boot. its design is simple, elegant, and slim.

I love this video. I'm glad he emphasized how the shape of the boot is very important. That's why UGGs are typically ugly because they make everyone looks like they have fat feet. But Aaron, i hope you don't hate all UGGs. Ugg Australia makes some stylish leather boots. For me, my favorite is the UGG rockville. I think they are as nice as Frye boots, definitely modern and stylish enough.

Hey Aaron, Fryes are awesome. Have you tried a pair of Mark Nasons? They are awesome, very comfortable, and stylish. There is a Mark Nason brand which run around $400-$500, and he also makes a Lounge by Mark Nason which runs around $180-$300. Check them out. Most comfortable boots I've worn

@Jdeman By designer jeans. They do not do this. In order to have a quality pair of jeans that look great you have to go with the premium denim. I like a pair of dark sevens. The style I particularly like are called Austyns. They are straight leg, they do not stretch much, and they look great! They run about $200 at Macys, but you can get them for cheaper on a good sale day!

Have you checked out wingtip boots? For the prices you pay for your normal leather boots, you can get a pretty cool wingtips with cool patterns. The patterns makes them look like they are worth more than you paid to the untrained eyes. And how would you wear your jeans or black chinos with boots? Tuck them in to the boots? Fold them? Or let the pants cover them?
