I got stuck around 4:35 after you had changed the HOSTNAME to server9.althusis.net all of a sudden the insert disappeared from the bottom of the screen and then you typed "|wq" how did you get from the hostname to the bottom of the screen to type "|wq"?
Also being stuck at this step, I couldn't go any further so I had to restart computer not sure if that is going to mess up the install now.
@russelduncan I am so sorry for taking so long to reply. The step you refer to will not upset the install. CentOS Linux is more robust than that. ;)
After making any needed edits in vi, you hit escape, and then :
The : will put you in command mode in vi, and the cursor drops to the bottom of the screen, you then type w which will save the file, and q which will exit vi. All together it is :wq and then enter. NOTE: It is not |wq but :wq
