The difference between snus and any dip is the bad stuff. Dip is fermented, causes cancer pretty quick. Dippers get oral cancer at a higher rate then smokers get lung cancer.

Dude...in norway we have to pay 10.53 american dollars for a CHEAP can of snus in Norway. On a gasstation the price is like 12-13.7 american dollars. In sweden the price is kinda like 50%-60% lower i believe. We don't have skoal though.

You need to listen to this pink ass cracker. He rambles at times, but he will save your life if you listen to him about snus. Snus is bullshit. It is a product that is designed to be a bridge from where you can't smoke to where you can smoke again- and as soon as you can, you WILL smoke again. It is equal to smoking about two cigarettes in a half hour period, but a lot of clowns who are uber addicted will smoke a damn cigarette with the snus in their mouth! We need to find a way to just stop.

@bullybrown A way to stop? It hasn't occur to you that people will always be addicted to drugs? The only thing we can do is limit the damage, and I'd like to say that snus is better than smoking in that regard. There is no smoke nor spit which leads to it won't affect the enviroment at all.
It's unfortunate that people use both drugs, but that's their choice. You can't just ban cars because people drive drunk, just like you can't ban snus just because there are those that start doing both.

Then why does Sweden have the lowest rate of smokers in all of Europe? Then why was I and a few friends able to quit smoking with snus? Harm reduction is the right way to go and tests have shown that the nicotine in snus is absorbed slower than the nicotine from cigarettes. Instead of smoking a pack of ciggs a day (one every half hour) you can go down to about 6 pouches of snus (one every second hour). In what way can snus be worse than cigarettes?

It's true that American "snus" does this but Swedish snus does not cause mouth cancer. Swedish snus is pasteurized and not fermented which leads to a very low level of nitrosamines and other carcinogenes.
