Is the giant Amaranth Amaranthus Australis? I am wondering if this variety is edible, because I just got seeds for these and I am wondering if they are edible.

I really want to see a cob of corn from that thing. I'm ove in passaic county and it just s happens that I unintentionally grew an 8-10 foot tall "Sweet 100" cherry tomato plant at the same time you were making this video. Ironic, must be NJ.
