  • Steve-O is that you?

  • i have some stubbornly weak triceps. i have no access to a dip bar, i do a lot of bench and tried going light and heavy on the triceps. they just wont grow big, any secret exercises for them?

  • @cxhaxor

Yes, just go to my main channel page and download a copy of my FREE "Muscle Specialization Guide e-Book". This contains unique exercises to help bring up stubborn muscle groups. There is a full section in that e-book about tricep exercises as well.

  • I laughed so damn hard at 27pepsiice's comment.

  • Thanks a lot for your vids Lee. Every time i find it repetitive at the gym, I just watch some of your vids and get many great new exercises. Awesome motivation =)

  • I've never seen anyone do this exercise. I think I'll give it a try next session and see how it feels. Thanks!

  • haha Steve O stunt

  • i do something similar with a few bands ive braided together ... very nice addition to the end of my bicep exercise to blow them up ..

  • OMG.... it´s only works with a dumbell -.-

  • hey leee you look like you've lost a bit of weight?

  • ripped steeve o ftw haha.

  • Come on man, this bicep exercise is a classic !

  • im 13, 203lbs of solid doping free power and i can curl 175 strict on the straight bar or 80lb dumbbells for reps strict.

    It's the truth, no lies.

  • @AndyHarglesis LOL YEA AND IM 15 345 AND CAN BENCH 580

  • @AndyHarglesis your a fatty, the only time you curl 80lbs is when you lift your arm up to drink soda, the only thing worse than being fat is being a fat liar. hahaha

  • steve-o on steroids

  • yup buffed up steve-o... oh and smarter too.. steveo is a retard

  • Thanks for this tip. I have good size arms, but just can't get that peak. I'll give this a try. Thanks for the video.

  • Steve- O

  • shit this is good, cable will add max tension when going down. Imma try this one. Thanx Lee

  • instead of incorporating the back to help pull the weight, would simply stripping the weight work just fine?

  • I just started using cables for some of my bicep work about a week ago and have noticed a big difference between using them and dumbbells. I'm going to have to try this one definatly, it just makes too much sense. Thanks for the tips.

  • your great dude but honestly you've got to stop walking like you are lee priest..

  • @27pepsiice

LOL the video didn't even show me walking... How does Lee Priest walk anyway?

  • @leemhayward Maybe he means "talking" like you are lee priest?

  • @leemhayward no but i've been watching ur videos for a while and ur great and a million people say u look like steve-o, what do YOU think about THAT?

  • @27pepsiice dude.....no....

  • Steve O on steroids :)

  • hmh,gj,

  • I like this one

  • keep pumping lee. looking strong. will definitely try out the exercise in the vid. going past failure is awesome.

lately i just just normal conc curls or hammer curls and reverse negatives till i get tired then end my workout with a nice set of 21s with lower weights.

  • great exercice for the biceps peak

  • haha pink floyd in the background. such an odd choice for a gym.

  • cool mmm

  • @djfikus one million

  • tHANKS 4 THE TIPS GREAT WAY FOR WORKING BICEPS...........

  • good video, gonna try this next time i work out my biceps

  • dang this is a great workout

  • thanks so much.. i neede to try a new routine.. didn't know of this execercise. i'm going try this tonight.

  • I have been working out hardcore (4 to 6 days a week) for over a year now, and I am amazed at things I have never seen or tried before. I am trying this tomorrow since its a bicep/back day'; thanks.

  • Thanks looking for something to help my biceps workout, want to and another couple of inch anymore tips

  • Sure, check out the Blast Your Biceps program. The link is right on my main website.

  • @leemhayward if im eleven and i want to do this would it make me really short when iget older

  • @PhsychoSk8erJake

I started working out when I was 12 and I'm just as tall as anyone in my family. Bottom line your height is determined by genetics, not if you workout or not.

  • @leemhayward exactly

  • you look like a built version of steve-o from jackass :D

  • Is this a good exersice to get a peak? i want to build bigger peak cuz then ur biceps looks big and nice

  • i have a bicep workout i uploaded that u guys should go see

  • hey, a hint my dad once taught me, when curling, keep your wrists bent backwards, that way you focus the lift on your biceps and not on your forearms. to see what i mean, put your hand above the back of your elbow and bend your wrist back and forth and you'll feel your forearms relax when bent backwards

  • shoulder position don't look the best. For people with messed up shoulders i don't think would be a good idea

  • what if i dont want a peak , what exercises should i do ?! plz help !!

  • @kassemhameed if you want just wide thick biceps then do hammer curls

  • I dont feel it in my Deltoid but I feel it when I work my trap muscles why is that ?

  • i don't like all these exercises for your biceps i just stick to the basic bicep curl against your leg it works great but it takes a very long time for your biceps to build

  • I was wondering do holding your stomach tight while your doing bicep curls make a big different from when you not holding your stomach in doing bicep curls if it do whats the difference ?

Can anyone please answer this question

  • Just keep your overall form tight, but I wouldn't purposely try and suck in my gut when doing any exercise as it limits your breathing. I'll usually breath deep between reps.

  • When I work my biceps after I get done I dont feel the muscle soreness like how I do my other body parts I'm talking about in the gym or the day after why is that ?

    I be lefting with intensity

I dont feel it in my shoulders either

  • i used to get that, i do 3 or maybe 4 exercises for my biceps now with little rest between sets and after i feel exhausted. just use good form, slow and controlled is the best way.

  • 9fredo -

What you use to get ?

How many sets you do per exercise for biceps ?

  • 3 or 4 sets per exercise

  • lol i do that workout all the time i thought i thought it up that sux well atleast it shows i can think of good workouts lol

  • you'll get good tension at the top but you can't tell me the tension at the bottom is the same as the weight of a dumbbell. I could do cable bicep work all day but have to give the dumbbells a rest after ten minutes.

  • Use more weight.

  • Interesting Variation. I'll try it.

  • This is basically concentration curls with cables.

  • hahaha really. didnt u hear him say that

  • Well, he just goes on for nearly 3 minutes, Im sure most people would just want to get to the point.

  • omg, no shit bro?! phahaha..funny

  • lol, yeah he does look a bit like steve-o

  • Didnt you know? This is Steve-o! Hes cleaned up and gone to the gym for the last few months!I

  • haha yea

  • looks a bit like steve-o if he beefed up

  • Funny, I do this exercise whenever I don't feel like doing concentration curls, not unique to me lol. Good bodybuilding exercise though.

  • you look like a healthy buff steve O!

  • steve o

  • Lee, that's not bad! I will share an exercise I find useful for bulking up the biceps:

Take an adjustible pulley (The ones you do tricep pulldowns on), stick a one-hander on the cable, put about 1/3rd of your dumbell curl weight on, stand sideways with your arm straight out, palm facing upwards, and flex a bicep muscle. Keep your elbow in place.

Do 3 sets of ten of these at the end of a bicep workout, and you will that pump that you have been missing again!

  • haha i just thought his remark on the whole cable vs free weight thing was kinda stupid. dont get me wrong this looks like a good workout. but 20 lbs at the bottom of an extension is still guna weigh 20 lbs at the top. gravity is always constant lol

  • He means tension is constant, when doing them with dumbells, you can kinda rest the weight at the top of the motion, but with cables it still pulls it against your biceps. instead of a vertical plane, it's a combination of horizontal and vertical

  • ohhh

  • i was gonna say tension as d KEY word to reply fj209's comment but then read your statement which was well put :)

  • i can rest cables at the top also. dont matter , resistance is just trying to simulate gravity. weights are weights.

its one thing if the resistance raised as you lifted higher i.e CHAINS on a bench press where the wieght is dead when the bar is at your chest and when you push up the chains come off the ground and adds more weight the higher you lift.

but over all Free Weights>Resistance alll day but you should do both.

  • I know, but although I prefer free weights, when the dumbbell is at the top o a bicep curl the bicep isn't being worked as hard is it? However on a cable curl it us constant force exactly the same at the top.

  • Yeah, but the difference between the cable and dumbell is that for the cable when you bring it to the top there is still tension, so your muscles arfe still working and not relaxing, with a dumbell when you bring it to the top you stop working it.

  • I can't wait to try this out. Right now my arms at 20", but I would like that peak in my biceps. Ima try this tomorrow. Thanks!

  • uhmm you look like steve 0 ^^,

  • hahah

  • I am going to try that right now. What a great tip. I always had a tough time doing cable bicep curls like these. Glad I could see the exact positioning. 5 stars baby!!!

  • i like how you keep going past the failure... very good work. I'll try this, thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • Gonna try that tonight.

  • Cape Bretoner eh???

  • That is an excellent exercise. I am going to incorporate that into my work out today. I work out at home but that looks like a dandy exercise I could do with either my Bowflex or with my resistance bands. Thanks for the great information. I appreciate it!

  • Any idea why my bicep muscles arnt growing in proportion with my torso?

  • great variation to the usual dumbel curl

  • cool im gonna try it

  • The download instructions should have been sent to the e-mail address that was on your order form. If you don't see it, check your junk mail folder, it may be there.

  • @leemhayward how many sets should i do of these?

  • @DjFikus

3 sets of 10-12 reps would be plenty. I like to save these for at the end of a bicep workout as a finishing movement.

  • Hey Lee, how's the injury healing going? Are you 100% yet?

  • Pretty much, but I still have to be careful with lat pull downs, chins, pull ups, etc. and other exercises that stretch the lats.

  • I'm glad you're close to 100% man. I got the heavy grippers today. How do I get the e-book?
