God of War 2 Difference between Spartan and Titan Mode

Spartan mode- Enemies attack at normal paces and they can be disposed off easily. Their attack damage does low damage considering Kratos is a demigod.

Titan Mode- Adversary aggression is heightened and their health is increased multifold than ours and two or four attacks would normally send Kratos to Kingdom Kom. But there is an advantage that with careful strategy, an enemy can be countered and grabbed and used to destroy another upcoming enemy such as in the case of the dogs.

only the minotaurs are hard. with them block instead of roll. kick the shit out of them and roll when perseus shoots the lightning thing. you have to kill like 12 minotaurs though.

yeah in titan mode all the monsters are relentless, they won't stop until you're dead. TM in story mode is much harder than in challenge mode.

i play that game ever in the titan mode thats not so hard (okay the barbarian king was a ashole xD)and i can see the difference to TM in the challenge or in the story. challenge is shit!!

shinobier, you use the hammer a lot. NUR or upgrade, is the hammer the best weapon in the game? I use the blades a lot, but I'm stuck in the protect translator and your videos show you wreaking havoc with the hammer.

Do you mind doing a video that compares throw damage of one enemy into another Spartan Vs. Titan. In my experience throw damage is the one stat that seems to be more potent on Titan Mode. Try it out on the Pre-Clotho room final wave and you will see what I mean:)

i never saw the rotT boost for spartan but i saw for titan twice and i really see difference titan attack after attack always spartan mode attack after 20 secs but i probly go with god mode hard i tried titan got to barb king died =P

i use ati radeon 1900xtx. i hook up ps2 to computer(composite >_<) and then capture it with virtual dub.

Huh, weird. I've got an nVidia 7600 GT, and it's got S-video in/out, but I don't get any preview in virtual dub. I guess mine just can't capture.

this vid is awesome! now noobs that claimed u played ur titan mode NUR will finally see the truth! i beat my titan NUR yesterday im doing a titan mode NUR bouns play with athena. but she takes a hell of a lot more damage on titan mode i took with kratos.. this might be harder :S

Nice video. Spartan seems pretty laughable in aggression. In the GoW 2 guide, it says that once you get the second RotT upgrade, you only take 25% damage. Nice to see how good it is on Titan.

You also deliver 300% damage. Because RotT makes your attack strength (percentile) higher it WEAKENS your throw damage. *collisions* People shouldn't be throwing in RotT anyway.
