Its much better just to plug in The Flip and save the video file to the desktop and open a better editing software. Then load the video file and start editing. Then save your video to the desktop and upload to Youtube.com.

Absolute piece of junk. Output file is a MP4, must be converted before editing. That will cost you money, their editing software is useless. No features. Indoor picture quality is crap. Too red, and very grainy. Didn't bother trying it outside, it may be better, don't know don't care. The sound is great as long as you want to hear everything around you and not who's talking.

@SINGIT0 i dont think you can. i used to make videos for another account but i couldnt get it to cut directly and it cut off alot of the video for fades. you can probably just edit the videos with quicktime if you have it

I just upload them raw (direct from Flip). FlipShare makes the files WAY too big, when saving movies in HD.

I noticed FlipShare uploads in the worst quality possible. Best to upload raw.

After it's done processing a window should come up asking if you want to use your own video editing software or have flip make you a professional DVD for $19.95. Click "use your own video editing software. There should be a folder on your desktop with the video clips in there. You could import these into your video editing software.
