I'll try to answer most of the topics which have been discussed yet. First of all, this video is almost 2 years old, and by the time I submitted it, Windows 7 was not out yet. i5s weren't as well. After that, I bought an E8400 and a HD 4770 and then I could play GTA 4 way better, however, I didn't have the chance to submmit another video. I sold my PC and now I only play the 360. I'm very addicted to MW2 on Live. Nevertheless, I hope this video helped at least someone. Thank you very much!

I have a 4670 1GB too on a E2140 and I have the same issues. I guess it's due to the small L2 cache these processors have. The game is playable but there are frequently some performance breaks like shown on video.

I have the same cpu and i got lag to somethimes, my gpu is a ATI hd 5770 and i've seen gta 4 gameplay video's with this gpu with rly nice fps and never lagg and settings much higher then mine. my RAM is 3gb ddr2 first i had 2 gb i upgraded it to 3 and that fixed the lag a bit, so i think its the cpu that is causing the lag.

I can compare to one of my friend's rig that runs one 9600 with a CPU slightly better and it performs slightly better too. The 9800 is way more powerful than the 9600 and the 4670

Mine play's well using PDC 2180 when clocked to 3Ghz and cooled using a Coolermaster Hyper Z600 inside a Thermaltake V3 enclosure. The CPU's attachhed to an ASUS P5Q, 2 x 2GB Kingston DDR2 800, Radeon HD 4670, and I control using a XBOX 360 controller. The only problem with using dual core CPU's and 512MB GFX cards is that the game doesn't allow to be maxed out. I heard Quad cores and 2GB GFXs( according to some comments) does the trick. I haven't heard of a 2GB GFX yet though.
