Actually, Tumsshark is correct they did make them from 70-79 with the 4hp engine on the 18" models then went to the 5hp with 22 or 24" ones. I have two that are Lawnboy - Gilsons with identical 4hp engine on them. One needs a new worm gear shaft. Let me know if you guys have one or any questions.

@tumsshark the 5 and 4 horse look the same, but gilson ONLY had 4 horse engines on the vintage single stage, ALL of the 2 stages were 5 hose and up
