Darton Floods 25th June 2007

I lived in Darton at the time. My mothers house was completely flooded losing everything she had worked for. It broke all of our hearts.

I feel so lucky we lived further up the hill towards Kexborough! Still, losing the scout hut was terrible, as I had been using it for the previous six years.

it was horrifying! I live in barnsley n nearly everyone was flooded out of their home. I live on a hill myself so I was one of the lucky ones, although damp came thru the wall

WOOT DARTON :) lol i live here :) IT WAS WELL BAD IN FLOODS :( me and mi mates tryed to get thru darton when it  flooded we were wading across thru coop car park and got sharted at by police :( lol but it war propa bad in darton
