Wudang is teaching some what the Chinese culture, Taoism. That is why people kept it during the revolution. Shaoling is, you know Buuddhism, so people has attacked it but it's culture still remains and people has re built it.
It amazes me how much of Wudang is left. Too bad that shaolin has basically vanished. It's all commercial now basically. Some of it has been preserved, but not on anywhere near how much wudang has been preserved, thank you for the video.
I disagree with 100%, shaolin has been preserved come to uk the chi chun shaolin school and study bride form fist then we will see if shaolin hasnt been preserved in pure form. their are many schools teaching flashly nonsense. but here it is hard as hell. Many times I wanted to cry just from front stance 100 punch drills then into horse stance into front and side kick each leg 100 times. and that's not even including the streches.kiko_yunchow@hotmail.com. real gungfu is hellish fighting is easy
@ryukenb2k I'm sorry, I meant real shaolin is scarce in actual China, I know that the shaolin kung is out there, but it's not at the shaolin temples anymore, they teach wushu, that's more what I meant.. Sorry if I was sounding like that...
No need to apoligise bub. My teacher graduated from the chi chun shaolin temple. over 40 yrs ago and was the first african shaolin disciple to be able to teach others in the temple and abroad. He is a good teacher and excellent martial artists. He isnt into all the flashly nonsense.
