Too bad they're all three in the same video. I would have liked to rate them separately. The first one delivers with utmost perfection. The next AND the next, with less and less perfection.
I saw the original D'Oly opera company touring with this set in Manchester england in the 1970s.I could not beleive my eyes when i saw this clip,it brought it all back to me,thanks for posting
:) Simple. Our Star and Director, Alistair Donkin (formerly a D'OC patterman) has been affiliated with our company since '82. Through his connection, we had an opportunity to purchase that 1950's Ida set, and we did. It's an amazing thing to share the stage with that beautiful work of art. We're lucky to get to work with Donkin every year too.
Is that one on YouTube (or elsewhere) I'd love to see it? As G&S companies go, the really good ones are pretty few and far between -- they're certainly one of the good ones.
I love these Houston clips. I want to come to see the show live! Sure wish I could. Please keep posting these great clips!!!

No it's not on YouTube...wish it were. Along with Lamplighters, I know that Houston GNS is one of the best too.

I recently saw the the Lamplighters' Mikado and it was amazing!!! They are THE best G&S company in the US, in my opinion.

Hilarion's singing hurts my ears! Everything else is good, though.

What a nice thing to say. I suppose you have a video of yourself performing this number better? Wow.. some people.
