  • how much does this weight i wish i had half the enginuity you have ive been wanting to build a tank for air soft i looked into electric but if it goes dead your sunk

  • Does the driver go in when under attack??

  • how suspention work what u mean by hydralic

  • @themabdaguy It currently has no suspension. It uses a hydraulic drive system.

  • I saw this in the encyclopedia under redneck

  • The tracks are by far the most impressive! What materials did you use? Please give us more details. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery after all.

  • @priesthoodiii We used rubber belting and steel signpost for the tracks.

  • what did you use for tracks?

  • how much hp is that motor?

  • @Potatonaught Around 27 but it needs 60-70

  • @swgic1 I'm not sure but I think he has two engines :/

  • @ClinicallyObeseMule Nope just one engine

  • what are the dimensions of the tank and the turret

  • how did you control the direction of the tracks seperately.

    two separate gearboxs?

  • @swgic1 With a hydraulic drive system. A valve and hydraulic motor control each track.

  • GERMAN TANK ! WTF !!!! o.O But realy great :)

  • What is the price of one tank like this?

  • Oh these tracks are diff then the ones you had on Daily Planet

  • @DaManzMoney Yeah we had to replace them after these wore out.

  • @6x6TRex So ther's no suspension? is it just wheel rims on bearings?

  • @DaManzMoney Correct, we currently have no suspension.

  • where did you get your tracks from?

  • @panzerkrieg777 Nowhere, we custom made them.

  • how do you make the gun in the turrent

  • @feedmyhobby01 Main gun is a 2" air cannon

  • its awesome!!

  • I would build a artillery cannon with a accuracy computer (Shows where pballz will land) and a few mg hatches. It would shoot either a really big custom made pballz or a ccilindricical canister that overshoots the target and drops an ass of pballz on ppl

  • en aluminium, il aurais été moins lourd..

  • how much is it for all of the supplise?

  • can i buy this

  • @Nefu860 Not this one but we'll build you one like it.

  • DEAR SANTA !

  • why did u film this at night?

  • Nikolai Wants his Vodka

  • amazing i am going to buile one, except that i dont know a few things such putting the fuel and making it turn left and write and the how to make it shoot! these things!

  • haha, i will be doing this with 2 5hp motors and 2 hydro tannies lol, it will be smaller than yours but i think it will be fun!

  • it looks like you hardy have any space to make the tank...

i'm gonna make one when i get the money (at the moment i'm poor)

  • do you need suspension? because im making an m1a2 abrams

  • love the tank, building one myself now, actually not a tank more of a LAV, but in paint balling terms, its all the same, plan on having it ready for the MMG 2011,

  • where did you get the motor of the tank?

  • How did u make the gun

  • uggghh a fine example of tanker engineering i so gotta make one for airsoft really nice job.

  • always always have to have a bottle of vodka

  • Love the truck bro! The tank freaking rocks!

  • hi guys for your gun,,, maybe an old idea will work. way back in the early 80's there was a paintball mortar. had a 3/4" base on the shell with a groove cut a round it then ong plastic strips held on buy a spring around the base. the strips were long enough to put 100 rnds in. when fired the strips acted like a discarding sabot.

  • Can you get all hte way in or is head allway's out.

  • Do you still have this tank?

  • love to see this babe in action

  • some shots and info on engine, transmission, drive etc would be great ??

  • dude this is badass haahaha

  • is that a zx-14? they are the shit

  • yeah but what is the enjine and stuff

  • nice tank ,a good opponent would be the guy in australia, he made a sherman tank.

  • you sir, are a genius

  • how much money did you spend to build the tank????

  • how u get the insides like how u make the tank tracks and weels and the body inside of it.

  • Body is plywood, wheels are car rims, and the tracks are homemade out of rubber and signpost.

  • nice tank and bike

  • nvm that

  • you forgot to mention the trailer hitch lol

  • you could make alot of money if you made and sold these

  • I would pay like 6 grand for it

  • i want to build one

  • you guys should make like paint gerade like bombs that explode on inpact

  • 5 * * * * *

  • my god i want that so much :)

  • fucking awesome dude!

  • where did u get the 2 stage hydraulic pump?

  • you can get them at you local cat, john deer store but they cost a bunch.

  • HAWT

  • Awsome tank.

  • hahahaha thats tight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • dude i want one

  • thats beautiful me and my friends wanna build one but we dont no where to start

  • heh, funny part is the machine gunner was also the radioman.

  • Hey, just wondering, you say you've got a barnes 2 stage pump, what's the rated gpm for the pump...and beyond that what are the specs for the drive motors on each set of tracks? I'd suspect they'd be rated for 1500in-lbs or more?

    Thanks

  • Where did you get the tracks for that... we have been building, and haven't been able to find any.

  • You might have to custom build it...

  • ah i see... what did you make them out of then... thats quite intereting...

  • in the video he says:

"it's a steel on conveyor belt rubber track system."

  • right

he is saying the wheels are steel

    and the belt is rubber

  • nope, he is saying the tracks are rubber belts with steel track pads attached.

    wheels are steel too ofcourse..

  • They are homemade tracks

  • this is the best airsoft tank in youtube!! thank you :D

  • its paintball, not airsoft!!!

  • @ratm33 Sorry! I mean paintball tank.

  • it would be more practical if it has miltiple turrets instead of a canon XD

  • Something he didnt say in the video was about the cannon. The way he has it set up is this. To aim (up or down only) you move it yourself. The method of fire is with Co2 or HPA (as any other paintball gun) The way to load it is via a breach near the end of the 2" barrel and has enough room to load up a pods worth of paint, a small paint grenade or anything else you can fit in there =). Also they have a Tippmann 98 fixed to the end to allow for the cannon to be operable on fields .. cont. -->

  • that dont allow for a cannons to fire multipul rounds or grenades. All in all this tank is one of the best i have seen build by hand. Word, Team UMS-SOG

  • i would very much like to buy one for u for about 10 grand but i dont no how you would get it to oregon hahah

  • make a video of the inside

  • was the body made of plywood?? if so then it will rot after about 4 or 5 times getting wet. but the paintball grease should help. good luck!

  • This tank is solid. My team met these guys at DDay and they are all awesome might i add =). When we first got there on sunday it rained for 11 hours straight. Then 2 days later it rained for another couple hours. I dont mean a light sprinkle.. this was a torrential downpour. And after all week of on and off rain and on and off scorching heat the only thing that was messing up was the plates on the tracks =). Which i was informed that he replaced the ones in this video here with REAL metal tracks

  • Yeah, the tracks have been replaced with metal ones

  • lol, dont ya think its a little cramped for the gunner and commander, with suck a small turret

  • hard to see this video at night..

try sunny day time to see it easily

  • a million stars for you man... a million

:D hope your team wins paintball

  • did you guys ever go to oklahoma d-day with the tank?

  • We went this year

  • You guys did a great job on that tank. 5 stars!

  • 4 man tank?

  • Oh yeah with the tracks is it convayer pelt ruber will steel plate bolted straight on or is there somthig in between

  • My god thats kool ive been wanting to build won for ages not one that shoots anything but just a big tiger tank mk4 in fact can u email me bluprints if there are some and be the way wat is the actual frame made of steel bars.and wat supports the wood exsteria?

  • Thanks for posting this video, Will. I am in the design process of building a Panther at the moment, 2/3 scale. I was planning to use a 2-stage pump before even seeing your tank. How much better is the performance with the Barnes 2-stage and can you still stall the engine? I expect my build to take 3 to 5 years since it will be all steel and sheetmetal. Again, great work Will - also love your Nacho Libre bike - LMAO. Good stuff!

    - Chad

  • k thanks

  • gallons per minute on 2 stage pump too?

  • Whats your engine size? calculate what combo will work and how (engineering). approx. 1hp=1gpm @ 1500psi. Too big of a pump and youll stall the engine, too small and it will be slow. The motors, calculate speed and torque based on pressure and flow, Math math math, If I had to do it again it would be geardriven, the math is easier!

  • Last question! What specific hydraulic motors did you get at northern tool (gpm too?) and what valves, size of hydraulic tank? as you can see im in the planning stage of making my own tank.

  • sorry for all these questions man but...are those really steel bars for the track blocks or are those just lumber too. By the way how many horses does that diesel produce?

  • 32hp 46ft/lbs@2500rpm The tracks are plywood blocks with .060"sheetmetal over them, good luck

  • @BlitzkreigWTF how do you make them awsome stacks/exhausts??? ps i think your tiger tank v.3 looks nasty!!!

  • @jacdupnerfguns Just normal exhaust tubing with an exhaust cap on the end and some sheet metal for the shields.

  • what do you use as the axle shafts, just solid bar steel? if so how did you fasten it to the tank? welding?

  • 2 inch diameter steel bar welded in the frame with bearings on the wheels

  • ouch $300 for a hydraulic pump, I guess Ill stick with a tranny!

  • one other question. does your tank have a drive sprocket or does the wheel rims just "push" the tracks along? thanks

  • We have a rear wheel friction drive but you really need a sprocket to do it right.

  • did you get the hydraulic parts at northern tool?

  • yep
