What I don't get is that these processors can go so high when it comes to suicide overclocking, but can hardly break 4GHz for stable clocks. It's really annoying. Mine has only managed to make it to 4.1 while being partially stable (Only 1 core fails at that point), 4.0 completely stable. Anything higher and it's as unstable as Britney Spears.

@FOGoticus Im not a fan boy at all and Im even managing to buy my next processor from AMD. But the i7 is faster in desktop applications because of the HT yes and dont forget the new micro-build of the CPU. I love the AMD 965 and its really cheap too for its performance :D

Nice... I have that processor, though no liquid is ever going to go on mine. I don't need 7ghz, hell, I barely even need 3.4ghz right now. GTA 4 only uses 70% of the CPU on max settings. Right now I'm using the C.M. Hyper N520 to cool things down and it works wonderfully. Those who say the i7 is better is just a moron. X4 965 is only 4 cores vs the i7 6 cores and the speeds are comparable. Now the X6 with 6 cores is out, lets see what i7 has to say now... Speed/dollar, AMD will always win.

Those that are economical / efficient would choose Intel, i personally Have built both a core i7 and a AMD Phenom based system, i gota say those amd cpu's are easy to overclock, even on a stock cooler :), built the AMD for my uncle.

Hi, you should set the multi to 19x and then run Prime95. If there are errors, set the voltage higher until your system is stable
