everyone read Wired for Success, Programmed for Failure by James Richard. i find his approach better than Maxwells. he targets the negative programming we recieved during childhood and shows how to reprogram ourselves for success. it's not a matter of conscious effort, willpower and "doing certain things". our subconscious feelings and reactions are automatic and overpower our conscious mind, this is the root of the problem.

It seems to me that perhaps speaking about leadership and achieving goals is rather pointless when one doesn't have the basic ability to pursue what's right in the world. When someone thinks they already know what right-ness is, and tries to shove that on others, there's no real leader there. Just a dictator

This book is the Bible.

why most churches are infatuated with: Vision, Purpose, Leadership?
Why less and less theology, doctrine, and expository preaching is being done at these type of churches?
Have we lost sight of what the Church really is suppose to be? I am not confused, but I am troubled by what I am started to see. I don’t know how this started, buy there are many things I was not aware of that now, compared to Scripture, I see many, many flaws in our current churches.
@ragetoca -this is not a church service but a seminar done by a leadership expert to train others. It's not a sermon and it was certainly not Mr. Maxwells' intention to preach a sermon on this occassion. Listen to a couple of his videos- theres' alot to learn..

It's not the only "truth" on the subject...but one of a few that I CONSIDER to be significant for me. Discovery of "WHY" is a Personal experience/understandings that make sense. YOU have your own "truths" I'm aware ;) ...freedom to BE, Create, Perceive...Imagine. :)
