Being a Christian isn't boring and it isn't a humdrum life. It's an exciting adventure with Jesus! You're missing out if you don't have a relationship with Jesus and think being a Christian isn't something that should take over and rearrange your whole life.

In reading the Bible, I do not get the idea that the prophets of OT (given great power) or the apostles (given much power through the Holy Spirit) acted anything like this. Dear bubsadoozy, I found out He is real and Jesus loves me. All I did was say, "If you are real, I want to know you I need more faith". Just as simple as that. If it was true I wanted to know. @SusanRichardsDay What other choices? There are more religions than just yours for starters. Maybe the best choice is to be void of religion and grow to an age when you can actually make a choice. You need to understand that your religion is something faith based and shouldn't be taught as the truth. There really should be a law against children being exposed to religion. It's harmful and just because you believe in it doesn't mean your children shouldn't be given a chance to decide.

@SusanRichardsDay Your faith cannot be more than faith. If it goes any further it's ignorance. I agree that there are terrible things being exposed to children early on, however. Any religion influences a lifestyle. TV, etc influences consumerism but that's more easily fixed compared to christianity. To teach children about a book that holds certain false information ( you can't deny this ) is not acceptable. Would you be ok with your child refusing going to church? Some wouldn't. That's not ok.
@bubsadoozy What in the Bible do you refer to as false information? I find the Bible to be historic , factual and spiritual guidance. That is just for starters. It is full of songs, wars , famines,victories,love , overcomers stories. The Bibles theme is redemption and Gods love.

My opinion is if you believe it and see it to be true then why does it matter if any on else believes you. You don't need children to believe in the same religion for it to be true. Sunday school in my mind should be illegal. It's not fair for those children to be exposed without choice. @bubsadoozy God did not make hell for human beings. When we were decieved by satan and took of the knowledge of good and evil . This separated us from God .Since then we are all born with a nature to sin. We are given free will. God has given us the chance to be born again from his own seed and the blood of his sinless son. Jesus is grace and mercy . God is a perfect judge. He has given us a full pardon but if we spit in his face and refuse his way then we will join satan in his rebellion.

@rollsboy08 I am concerned because for one God's blessings ought not be flaunted as it amounts to pride or vain glory. It's a subtle deception satan uses on special people. This can forfeit one's whole relationship with God. In God's Presence is perfect peace and I've seen people who look like they're getting hit by something and it seems they play on it, which is also a form of vain glory. I think it's wonderful seeing the love Heidi has for God but I also know the devil's tricks. Just warning!
@GIGiulia Special people is not the right term, perhaps people with special relationship with God is a more accurate description. These are weak people, foolish people and base people because God has chosen these in order to show His Glory. Praise God!

GOD wouldn't have created us and told us He is love, unless he truly loved us! Our views will never change his nature which is his love for us. As our spiritual understanding is opened up to understand God's love for us and his precious sacrifice for us, THEN, out of that understanding, then, and only then can we truly pour out our heart to Jesus, the one who gave it all for us.
hey nahoruk! ^^ i read your description, & i've heard the same thing too..but in different words. i heard that there are many christians who are marthas, and very little of mary's. i thought about it, & i didn't really actually know what it meant. but then, i started hearing christians who were great in their spiritual giftings, but forgot their relationship with God. they lacked that love and intimacy with God & that's how they became fallen christians. oh btw, i'm using my friend's account. ^^
People who serve the Lord, are not superior in Gods sight, but we have to realize that God needs these people and if we don't agree, then maybe we aren't doing the job He wants from us.

In reading the Bible, I do not get the idea that the prophets of OT (given great power) or the apostles (given much power through the Holy Spirit) acted anything like this. @SusanRichardsDay What other choices? There are more religions than just yours for starters. Maybe the best choice is to be void of religion and grow to an age when you can actually make a choice. You need to understand that your religion is something faith based and shouldn't be taught as the truth. There really should be a law against children being exposed to religion. It's harmful and just because you believe in it doesn't mean your children shouldn't be given a chance to decide.

Any religion influences a lifestyle. TV, etc influences consumerism but that's more easily fixed compared to christianity. Sunday school in my mind should be illegal. It's not fair for those children to be exposed without choice. @rollsboy08 I am concerned because for one God's blessings ought not be flaunted as it amounts to pride or vain glory. It's a subtle deception satan uses on special people. This can forfeit one's whole relationship with God. In God's Presence is perfect peace and I've seen people who look like they're getting hit by something and it seems they play on it, which is also a form of vain glory. I think it's wonderful seeing the love Heidi has for God but I also know the devil's tricks. Just warning!

GOD wouldn't have created us and told us He is love, unless he truly loved us! Our views will never change his nature which is his love for us. As our spiritual understanding is opened up to understand God's love for us and his precious sacrifice for us, THEN, out of that understanding, then, and only then can we truly pour out our heart to Jesus, the one who gave it all for us.

hey nahoruk! ^^ i read your description, & i've heard the same thing too..but in different words. i heard that there are many christians who are marthas, and very little of mary's. i thought about it, & i didn't really actually know what it meant. but then, i started hearing christians who were great in their spiritual giftings, but forgot their relationship with God. they lacked that love and intimacy with God & that's how they became fallen christians. oh btw, i'm using my friend's account. ^^

The Lord gave me authoritty to speak about this issue!the Father Himself told me that he has "admonhished" many but when they get to the pulkpit,they seem to forget.
I prefer to minister to atheists because Christians put these people in such high pedestals due to their big call,big ministry,big visions,big sufferings,big sucesses,etc...that they think God preferes them over everybody else!They think all is accepted because they see those things as God's favor over them.

I just decided to go back to the place where I was with the Lord before I ever came to Youtube!
However, a while ago I thought about You when my husband was swearing at me and accusing me and "my religion".
I'm glad that I was able to minister to several people who have been hurt in church while watchng those who have no regard for their feelings!
The Lord doesn't deserve that and neither does His Bride!

They display and display what God gives them but they never minister to others that same love that God has extended to them!

she's not acting like she's a "favorite one"
she's worshiping. thats it.
Heidi is asked by churches to share her testimony. thats what she does. she tells of the Lord's great works that He has done in her life, and she gives him the glory, and takes none.
her message is to encourage others to love Jesus and live for him.
everyone knows she is just a servant of Christ. noone is exalting her.
we all know Jesus deserves all praise.

My friend if you only knew what Heidi Baker gets upto on a daily bases in Mozambique you wonuld'nt judge. I'v heard her say on more than one occasion she does'nt like preaching in western churches; she'd rather be looking after the orphans, the homeless, the disabled, the prostitutes, the physically abused etc. I think its a shame that we judge people when we no absolutely nothing about a person, i do it too!

and wht did God say about this then??? i bet He said 'Yeshuailionofjudah dont be silly sooooooo jealous, you know u can come to Me too just like Heidi does and we need to sort this malice thing out before it consumes u like it did lucifer'. Mate you need to go before the Lord to deliver you from envy, jealous, malice or whatever u want to call it coz its not cool. it constricts and chokes. i had the same prob but at least i cried out to God and he totally got rid of it.God has a purpose for u 2.

yeah i want to know from u two wether ur the religious type or the tru worshipers of God, u know it was the religious leaders in the time of Jesus that thought like u and so their thinking and stony hearts got in the way of seeing jesus who He really was& that drove them to crucify Jesus. Nobody is looking at heidi the same way we look at Jesus I live for Jesus for He died for me but heidi is just a vessel being use by God she is being the hands and feet of jesus the way we believers should be

I do not believe in religion but neither do I believe in all the charasmatic revivalism/mysicism that is placing God's people in grave danger. ok, my friend, i know all there is to know about the Bible, salvation, and its requirements. by the way it is not about religions but relationship. religions doen't ever amount to anything.again take a look at what the religious learders did to jesus. by the way if u haven't notices there are revivals all over the world that is one sign jesus gave us before his return.

Evangelists today are less like the characateur-ish ones of the past, they are BELIEVABLE and therein lies the danger. No matter what great deeds are being done, if a so-called 'Christian' keeps corrupt company such as Extreme Prophetic and exhibits 'holy laughter' (Galatians 5:22-23) or un-interpreted tongues (1 Corinthians 14) as Heidi Baker does, they are not following Jesus. Please test EVERYTHING according to the Word of God (God never changes) - we are in the midst of a great delusion.

Heidi has become the golden calf in the evangelical pentecostal church!
Heidi didn't died for You on the cross,JESUS did!
Didn't God say that He wouldn't share His glory with any man?
That woman is causing people to keep their eyes on her rather that on Jesus!
People are so impressed with her,forgetting that the call and the open doors and the miracles are the work of the Holy Spirit because of what Jesus did on the cross!
