I watched a controlled burn once, the thing that I couldn't believe was, once the house was fully engulfed, the intensity of the heat,(I know fire is hot ) but I was 50-60 feet away and the heat was U N R E A L ! This isn't good fire music, next time try " Fire " by Ohio Players...

this house was meant to be demolished in the first place.. The firebrigade voulunteerd to set it on fire and there by getting some practice in having the fire under control. That's why they don't do anything to put the fire out. the owners get the ''demolishion'' of the house for free and the firebrigade get some free practice.

obviously.....its a firefighters job to do dangerous things....you know like put out fires lol.. as lordstyfer said, its a practice burn, firefighters are the ones that start it and put it out, so they can work on keeping it under control, and things like that. but of course its going to be dangerous, its part of the job, but safety is number one. they know waht they are doing....trust me.
