I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad has been gone since last year. I turned off my phone on my birthday because I knew he wouldn;t be calling. I could still hear his voice in my heart. Your father is with you and proud. It's not the same, but it's a lot. Thank you for sharing.

Riding all natural like this gives you a amazing bond with a horse, it is truly amazing. I do natural horsemanship and I ridde bareback and bridless and I think it truly is something every rider should learn to do and experience a amazing bond that you get from riding like this!

Amazing video that give me chills to watch. It saddens me that some people have responded so negatively to the footage, I'd love to see them try! Of course she uses bridles and saddles at home, like we all do - it doesn't make her a fraud. She also wears spurs in this video (which i'm surprised no one has picked up on) but that doesn't mean shes being cruel!

As the saying goes, it's only as harsh as the hands that use it - and I think we can all she, she is not harsh at all.

I dont understand all the fuss? Her horse is unhappy during most of the performance. Chewing and licking are signs of stress and fear and her horse does an awful lot of this. I also think its unnecessary to stand on your horses kidneys (which causes pain btw) to show off to a crowd. Fear and pain are never the best tool to control a horse . . . trust is. She also still uses bits and conventional tack as shown at the end of the video so where does the horse win?

@amilois1 Any horse would be stressed with all the people there, and chewing and licking doesn't necessarily mean they're stressed. Yes, it can mean that they are going from higher anxiety to lower anxiety, but it doesn't always have to be like that. Hell, all the horses I've been around play with their tongues and chew, most of the time they do it when they're falling asleep. Yea she probably does use harsher tack off camera, but still, it is an incredible ride and it did take a lot of trust.

@amilois1 The horse isn't unhappy, because if it was it wouldn't have performed and again, the horse wasn't in pain when she stood up on him coz if the horse was it would have thrown her off. No fear was shown in the video, just trust, look how the horse follows her at the end and she had to but a bridle on, otherwise the horse might have run off, or she may have been going somewhere that involved a bridle.

@45oneshotstop Yes . . . I have had horses all my life, that horse LOVED what she was doing. Standing carefully on a horse's back doesn't cause pain. Stacy would have been on the ground if it had. I absolutely LOVE this video, and I love that mare.

I'm against horse racing, rodeos and horse-drawn carriages because they are forms of animal enslavement, but this was absolutely beautiful. The only way a horse should be treated is like this. If this woman can do this bareback, communicating 'telepathically' with the horse, then all bits, saddles, spurs, whips, etc. should be banned -- they are unneccesary torture devices! I admire this woman for understanding this.
