But these matters are settled by careful systematic reviews of the scientific literature. Anti-psych political advocacy doesn't help.
The problem with anti-psychiatry is that the aim of many groups is to get you off medication, without much concern for the side effects. People with mental problems are given medicine for a reason. I believe that many of psychiatry patients know better about medicines than the doctors themselves, because they have learned by experience both for the mind and body and which got forcefully exposed. So, these patients if they had a disease as a problem from the biggining, they got a second problem medicine and the doctors, and together with them broken attitudes, broken moral, broken will, broken right to deceide themselves...

Credibility being as a legitim doctor, gives them enormous power over their, and their patients have nothing to say if “a judgment have been made” even if they decide forcefully drugs for a lifetime and demand from them to take them regularly.
Maybe therefore many psychiatry patients which I have met, used to express themselves like: “One get more sick after coming out of hospital than one was before going there”. Anything which is being put by force into body can be experienced as a trauma.

The plan they make for the patient is not unique, nor individual because it is used as a deceison, a program or a schedule which they already have before they even met any "patient". This schedule is predecided and is meant to be used even before they have met the patient. They don´t even know that patients exists, because they don´t make judgments individually by listening, but they make them after books.

A psychiatrist is a doctor who have been study at University level the "mental disoders" and "medications". They usually ask their new patients if they "hear voices" and "what do they think abou ttaking medication". They are very bad to hear and listen at their patients needs, because they are occupied with how to succeed to put their plan in the patient´s life, no matter if the patient have ever been hearing abou it. A plan full of risks, and none of them knows if it works...

That's the problem with the Church of Scientology - they aim for the global obliteration of psychiatry, with the rationale that all psychiatrists are evil. Some peoples' lives depend on psychiatric medication, yet the CCHR (which is a front group for Scientology) continually protest that psych drugs turn people into murders, drive children to suicide, and that psychiatry is the cause of 9/11. This irrational hatred for psychiatry is wrong.

Jeremy was diagnosed with schizophreniam hearing voices in his head. Elli denied him psychiatric medication and gave him only vitamins. The result: he stabbed his mother 77 times, which could have been prevented if Scientology didn't have such an irrational hatred of psychiatry.

Well if you had fucking O.C.D. like I do and your life was turning into hell like mine because of it that what would you do.
When you find an answer tell me, but until then I will go to my Psychiatric, and take drugs that I admit had some sideeffects liek being lightheaded, adn stuff when I started using it, but now that I found something right for me I'll keep using it, and so are millions of other people.

This video is fantastic. It's unfortunate that most people don't know the truth about psychiatry. It's unfortunate the influence and ignorance that abounds in our society and in our world. But then again, it's nothing new right? It took a while for the world to catch on to what the Nazis were doing in Germany, and it took even longer for anyone to actually do something about it. @luzzyra Well actually,I do agree with that,like in a hormonal teenager who suffers from depression it's a bad idea to put more chemicals into them,and I understand having been a majorly depressed teen,it's just gotten worse since my teen years,I think it's better to seek counselling,but there are definitely cases where I think some medical treatment is necessary for people such as myself to be able to cope with life.Thank you.

Well quite a shoking video if true, but then are the program maker also are in it for a buck? and if so is it true or hyped up, there are always two sides to every story. Me I have just been to seen my psychiatrist today and to be honest I have found their diagnosis incorrect and the whole mental health system to be rather uncaring, often just wanting to put you in a box saying you have this here are some pills to suppress the symtoms, no cure!!! I Find the only way to get better is by myself.
