I've never seen anyone do a nice animation in Xara, I've seen some cheep ones, and alot of nice drawings, but never a nice animation, which is why I'm considering buying it. I love traditional animation so I'm hesitant about using FLASH like programs.

Xara itself isn't an animation program. Although, Xara Extreme PRO does have simple Flash animation tools, it is more suited for animated banners and simple graphics. Not suited for cartoon story telling, in my opinion. As there is no sound capabilities. Xara is mainly a vector based illustration program.

oooh ok, I was confused because someone recomended PRO to me when I asked if there was a flash like animation program I could use for animating that was cheaper.

Just to add - the latest version of Xara Xtreme (version 3.2) now has flash capabilities, which was once only a "PRO" feature (Xara Xtreme PRO)
