@heather31ky Congratulations on your 1 year sober! I dont know you, but so glad you took that step. There are alot of people who continue to use(drugs, alcohol, lies, ect ) as a crutch for something much bigger. I have to say I was one of them! God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and a beautiful son whom with out my Savior Jesus Christ, I would not have, nor would I be here. So to you I give you praise for getting out of the pit that alot of people are still in. May God bless you!!

@Kylersmommy1721 Thanks. God has blessed me in so many ways here lately. I'm really into the song "Praise You In This Storm" right now, too. My 12 year old son just got out of the hospital with double pneumonia and a MRSA infection in his lungs. I could have given up, but God has so much more in store for my baby. I gave thanks for the fact that he was alive instead of dwelling on the thought "Why me?" which would have been so easy to do. God bless you and your family.

@heather31ky That is a wonderful song!! So sorry to hear about your son. I pray for a full recovery. My niece who is now 4 can get bit by a bug and gets MRSA.. So I know all about that infection. Its horrible how much pain people are in especially kids. Its amazing how once you start living for the Lord how your whole mind set changes. Isn't it?

I just heard this song today on Pandora and absolutely fell in LOVE with it as it completely spoke to me. I've been having a hard time trying to change my life on my own, forgetting that it's God who needs to work in me and through me to create me into who He knows I can be. This song felt like God saying to me, in a very loving way, "My dear girl, this is what's going on. Now let Me take the reins and stop trying to change on your own".
