You don't believe in abortion, but once that child is born........let them die hu? Or how about their parents? Sisters?Brothers? All because they don't have health insurance.......where the hell does that make any sense. You cry we are in a recession and jobs are lost and yet you fail to see the results or refuse because it may come out of YOUR full pocket. I hate it when humans use religion in there own best interest. Especially when for selfish reasons. Shame on you

The only people who should have insurance is.
People who work and there jobs offer a insurance plan.
If your at the retirement age and can get social security.
If you have a disability and can not work.

All i got to say is that all the people working in nursing homes like the COTA's and the OT's are goin to either lose there jobs or have to take a pay cut or lose there working hours. Thanks to our wonderful president, what a BIG ass liar. I hope everyone that vote for this asshole has learn there lesson.

Brian Lamb, the C-SPAN CEO, wrote to leaders in the House and Senate Dec. 30 urging them to open "all important negotiations, including any conference committee meetings," to televised coverage on C-SPAN, imploring Congress to open up the last leg of health care "reform" negotiations to the public, as some top Democrats lay plans to hash out the final product among themselves.

"The C-SPAN networks will commit the necessary resources to covering all of the sessions LIVE and in their entirety," Lamb wrote. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared to object to the premise behind the request. Sen. Barack Obama first pledged opening up legislative negotiations to C-SPAN cameras during a Democratic presidential primary debate with Sen. Hillary Clinton in Los Angeles on Jan. 31, 2008.

Obama promised repeatedly that ALL negotiations for a healthcare plan would be broadcast on C-SPAN, but like so many of his promises, it was all a LIE. (Nancy Pelosi and her cronies even laughed at a reporter's suggestion that they should stick to Obama's campaign promises). From the "Cash for Cloture" deals in the Senate, to these backroom deals in the House, the liberal leadership has been exposed for its duplicity.

P.S. The House of Representatives is slated to return on January 12, 2010, and the US Senate on January 19, 2010. Even before that, though, leaders in the House and Senate are planning closed-door backroom meetings to negotiate all of their "deals" to try and get this thing passed.

The jobs report for December was worse than expected, which should be expected because no matter what the report is, the economists often act surprised at the results. It doesn't take a genius to realize Obama's reckless spending and creation of more giant entitlement programs will not lead to jobs. He's just putting a band-aid on a massive head wound.

i think it will raise taxes in thr middle of a recession.nobody should be denied heath care.most people will pay higher taxes and people will be pissed off.mostly the sickly people always used insurance the most.this may cut jobs because employers will spend out more an they will cut workers to make up the lost.companies will charge more for the services an create huge havoc in the us

All you want to do is slow down reform. The job killer left office in January. You Republicans had a chance to reform Health Care, but they weren't interested. We need health reform and competition for insurance companies. As a 61 year old with a pre-existing condition and a high premium, I can't afford, we need health reform. Do something for the people.
