Adam was never offered a job with Queen. Maybe to do a special thing here or there. Adam is a good singer but not on a Freddie Mercury level.

To be on Freddie's level a person would have to be a great songwriter, great music composer, great arranger, great pianist, great rock frontman and a great singer who can sing rock, punk, soul/gospel, pop, blues/jazz, disco, rockabilly, scat, ballad and opera .

This is why Brian & Roger said that Freddie will never be replaced. There is no such person.

His 1st album is due out next week and I don't think any of his songs showcase his voice the way these covers do. It's still good though.

Roger Meddows Taylor - articulate,witty and a great drummer for one of the best bands ever. I saw Queen in '86 at Wembley and Knebworth and Freddie Mercury was on fire, simply untouchable. I agree that the only person who has come close was George Michael at the tributre concert. Give Brian and Rog a bell before you get too old!!
