what people do not realise is that "CONTRACT" marriage was done sometimes soon after birth. Mant still kind of happen in European Royal families. But people fail to remember that Hadith id not the word of God and with all good intentions they can make mistakes. Even if Aisha was 9, why are muslims trying to defend such claimes, read the Bible on the cronology of the Akidah ( sacrifice, and you will see Rebbeca was 3 yrs old

Aisha was not 6 or 9 .
This is a false and an unreliable tradition in bukhari.
Are you aware that Bukhari has other more authentic traditions that place Aisha's age between 15-20 years of age at time of marriage.
These are all lame justifications of a false tradition.
Use your own brain and stop providing stupid explainations of a senseless beleif. Just because it was done in roman times does not mean it was alright for Muhammad (PBUH) to do it.

Aisha was six when she was married to Muhammad (she did not have a choice in the matter), and the marriage was consummated (i.e., she was raped), when she was nine. And what are muslims' defense of this? That Muhammad waited until she was nine (and he a man of 53) to consummate the marriage.

Stop making excuses for having sex with a 9 year old. Doesn't your CONSCIENCE tell you it is WRONG to have sex with a 9 year old? It's irrelevant what other societies did - they were wrong as well. I realized one day - the angel "Gabriel" is mentioned in the book of Daniel BEFORE the quran was written. Why are muslims so scared of the book of Daniel? The answer - it's because the book of Daniel has clear prophecies of Alexander the Great - and muslims are scared of bible prophecy. .
