Some may not like her pronunciation of εὔσπλαγχνοι, but that's splitting hairs.

I'm sorry I see everyone thumbing you down but that was kind of funny. She is very pretty and I respect the fact that she dresses down and focuses on the message. So, if anything let that inspire you to listen to her. She's actually very educated compared to other infamous badly dressed and not so physically attractive televangelists. I'm a Catholic educated by Jesuits versed in philosophy, and this woman is the best philologist and interpreter of Biblical texts I have seen in modern Protestantism. She should be better known. Going beyond the King James version is important - she's good.

I watch her on the TV channel each night and I love her presentation of real spiritual food. No nonsense, just the truth. She is so intelligent and you can always follow her.

She and her late husband are somewhat similar in their teaching presentations, but she is a different person than her husband. Her individual style will be slightly different.

What I don't understand from all the critical messages I have read is how people will think that her style of teaching would NOT be different than her husband's.

Also, to not expect her to make changes different from how her husband

would manage the church/ministry is just being stupid.

Gene Scott had died in 2005, his wife, Pastor Melissa Scott, became head of the church/ministry.

Anyone who has watched the broadcast of her teaching can NEVER say she is not qualified for the job at hand.

Her understanding of the Word of God and her emphasis on the basic foundations of Christianity is evident.

I don't always agree with every message, but she has a superb knowledge of various languages and biblical texts and her ability to teach is outstanding.

This is another oustanding sermon on Forgiveness by Pastor Melissa Scott. The message on forgiveness has been lost in the modern church world, but Pastor Scott has done an exceptional job to offer the original text and meaning from the Greek to reveal what God expects of us. I too hope Pastor Melissa Scott will continue to post her sermons from the Cathedral.
