But that was a nice crit in my Grandmarshal mage i think the highest i got was a 5800 frostbolt. Then again the pvp gear had no were near as much spell power. Nice crit for no arcane power :)

well think bout ignis the furnace master, you picked 2 easy bosses, ignis you need a tank to mt and an ot to handle adds by walking them intoi fire and getting them 10 fire stacks without you getting 10, then drop em in water, then a mage has to crit a 5k+ to shatter it while focusing on boss, he also at this time puts people in his furnace pot, they requre big heals aswell as tank

@boydanlaz: A Frostbolt Crit is a whole other thing than a Pyro Crit, cause with a Frost Specc you get a 100% Bonus on FrostCrits, Fire specced it's still 50% on Firespells. So you have to see the 6k Frostbolt as a 4,5k crit compared with the Pyro or you have to add the Bonus Dmg of Ignite (+40% of Crit in 4 secs, 2 ticks) to my 6k Pyro, which makes a total of ~8400 DMG.
