@crossfacecraddle29 My first pair were bloch - i really liked them but it depends on your feet! I think Bloch Triomphe (my first pair) were good because they had quite a large box area to help with balence, however they didnt look as nice as a pair of, say freeds. They also had swede on the box which I found really good as i didnt have to adapting the box and the satin didn't become dirty or frayed. However, Make sure when you get fitted you try lots of styles and find what suits you best :D

@carodalino you know, you could've just bought a pair of yoga socks. they are made with no heal and no toe. they won't unravel as you use them unlike a cut sock because a sock is made of one knitted string. just saying. you'll get more wear out of a sock made for that

We use almost the same shoes, except that mine are 5X. I love them cuz my feet are wide and most shoes that fit (capazios, blocks) give me a horrible arch. However, Grishkos have excellent support, they look beautiful, make your feet look beautiful too, and they are not slippery. Btw, I love the socks/tights with colorful dots on them.

I love grishko's. I've been doing pointe for about 6 years now and I've never found a shoe like this. I have really strong, really high arches, and generally, if its not an extremely hard shank, i tear through them in a few weeks and then i can't use them at all but i recently got Maya's in a hard shank and i love them.
