The original speaker, or any speaker for that matter, will sound MUCH nicer in a proper wooden enclosure.

Just like in a musical instrument, the sound box helps to both amplify the sound as well as give it "life".

The 1st step switches to line, the 2nd changes nothing to the first, but protects the mv-rectifier tube if someone won´t awaite the warming up - finally the 3rd step is swiched after 15 secunds
