I share two hobbies in common with Bob: travel and photography. I wish I can see his travel photos online. Hope he will share more travel stories in future speeches. I agree with another reviewer, to 'triage' the 'job' section is OK.

I like the way you explained your two hobbies of travel and photography as a way for your club to get to know you. You could have removed all the info about your job and still would have been within the 4 to 6 minute time frame. You're right, removing filler words will enhance your speaking skills. Those skills are already obvious in your first speech.
Good for you for posting this - the icebreaker is a scary enough thing to do in front of twenty people let alone the world stage ! ;-) I just did my ice breaker in Edinburgh, Scotland a few days ago and will post it on YouTube in a few days when i suss getting it uploaded from DV. (Hint -so check it out soon !)

I watched you and remembered my first icebreaker and now I'm really stepping up, I have my first Toastmaster competition tonight. Keep it up.
