  • Nice try guys, for a moment I was actually impressed, but then again.... you don't really know if Joseph Smith had access to these symbols, after all, he was living in the same area.

  • Fuckin squareheads....micmacs dont give a shit bout your false religion. They dont care bout yall either. Only white peeps they ever liked was acadiens. So take it deep tete carrees go eat some huge hamburgers

  • This video actually gave me a ray of hope, but after researching it I discovered it's total BS. The Mi'kmaq language as shown above was actually adopted by missionary Chretien Le Clercq in the 17th century who combined mnemonics with their existing petryglyphic style in order to teach them the gospel (possibly Latin shorthand). These characters aren't found in any ancient Mi'kmaq glyphs, only post-17th century writings. Apologists: please do your homework before posting crap like this.

  • @madmonk Actually there are much better videos than this one. This one is so weak in comparison to "Lehi's First Inheritance-Exploring the Lands of the Book of Mormon."

    By Dr. Joseph Allen

He is a known scholar and his research shows that the meso american map theory much more plausible.

  • This is so ridiculous. Reformed Egyptian!!!!! I love it!

  • Be it known... That we, through the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, have seen the plates. We also testify that we have seen the engravings which are upon the plates; And we declare with words of soberness, that an angel of God came down from heaven, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the plates.... And it is marvelous in our eyes. we bear testimony of these things. OLIVER COWDERY, DAVID WHITMER, MARTIN HARRIS

  • Your ignorance speaks for itself.

  • I believe it with my heart, but it is so great to have it validated with my head when truths like this come out, and they are coming NOT just from LDS people, but from archeologists around the world. I never thought I would see anything about the Book of Mormon on the History or Discovery Channel, but lately...it's everywhere.

. It's so true. Read it.

    Live it.

    Believe it.

    There is no other way.

  • For the 1st time I can't think of what to say as to HOW MUCH BULLSHIT FLOWS FROM LDS PEOPLE!!....COME ALL WORSHIP BAAL YOUR TRUE GOD!!

  • @A1Goku With a Satanic mouth like yours we should follow you? Your pathetic.

  • @scottwins2 -- DON"T follow me!...that would be stalking...and you think my mouth is satanic...obviously the words comming from LDS church leaders are more qualified for that accusational remark.

  • @scottwins2 Here's a Mormon Quandary:: Joe quoting Martin says Anthon supposedly said "Joe had correctly interpreted the characters they were Egyptian". OK? Then Anthon said the other characters were Chaldaic, Assyriac, Arabic. Question: Since only Joe could interpret Reformed Egyptian, How did Anthon recognize them as Egyptian? Anthon isn't Champollion nor Joe, who stated "the power of god translated the hieroglyphs the knowledge of which was lost to the world". Why 5+ alphabets??

  • WHAT CROCK OF CRODILE CRAP

  • @A1Goku Why blame crocodiles for this mess? Lets place this crock where it belongs.....

  • Barry Fell was a nut.

  • True faith doesn't come from believing in a any religion. If you believe in the words of just one man, "if you but have faith the size of a mustard seed, then you can move mountains!" ~ Jesus. See how just one person, made such an impact? And he also said that "God does not dwell in temples or stone houses, nor wooden buildings, but in the heart of anyone who shall seek him." ergo the reason for all the sects? Another day I think.

  • Does anyone know if the Mic Mac tribe has had there DNA tested? If so please let me know i would really like to see the results. Thanks

  • Iam listening to the comments in this video.. and I have to say this information given is false.. Due to the fact..records done by Indain Affairs in Canada and the achives in our provincal museums in NS.. there is No word in our History that we were called Mi'kmaq.. this was just change in 1973.. futher more maybe your non liner editor that edited this piece needed to address our history in NS Canada.. Maybe you should have research your comments before posting..you in for a legal battle..

  • Eh, it's really not worth arguing over. Im sorry you run into people you can't relate to, nor them to you. I can only speak for myself and my whole family and those of my friends who are LDS as well. and what we are taught. and it's certainly not what you encounter. you judge us harshly because we are mormons tho, i can almost guarantee that. thats fine. I know where I stand in life, and I know where my heart is. sorry you've had bad experiences. doesn't change that we know better.

  • @Gaibriel1 Well said. I wish I knew mormons like you. Regardless, the "church" is the people, the congregation. It not a building. Jesus is a way of life, not a religion. mormons don't get the "religion" part. Many of the doctrines and ceremonies you embrace, are NOT Jesus inspired. This is the rub Christians have with mormonism. Being good to your church, and fellow church members is NOT what Jesus taught. HE said be good to all.

  • @myway43 Many of the members? Your articles of faith require ALL to be good. Jesus requires us to be good to our fellow man. Many? Are you for real? Solid church? Your church is based on lies. It lies to it's members, and lies about it's agenda. NOTHING based on lies is solid. Answer the question I posed. If I don't believe joe myth was a prophet, why can't I be a member of your church? If it's all about Jesus Christ, what does it matter?

  • @theboofooguy The Book of Mormon is the cornerstone of our religion, therefore how can you reject the Prophet and embrace the Book of Mormon at the same time? Since when is it a sin to be good?

  • @myway43 "The BOM is the cornerstone of our religion." This statement is THE most telling comment I've EVER heard out of a mormon. Christians believe The Bible to be the cornerstone of Christianity.Jesus Christ is our savior. Man made dogmas are "religion." You are so off the reservation, that you can't even see where you made the wrong turn. Until you accept Jesus as your personal savior, NO "religion" on Earth can help you. joe was a conman. For you to call him a prophet is comical at best.

  • @theboofooguy All the scriptures are used in our Church, including the Bible. There is no mystery here. The BOM is a cornerstone of our faith, if you have a problem with that, well that's your problem , not mine. I will not wish wash or minimize the BOM and it's importance whatsoever for anybody. Here is an idea, you do not like the Church, BOM, or whatever? fine , then why are you hanging out here? Does the little word Troll mean anything to you?

  • @myway43 mormons claim the bom to be the only "correct" book. Therefore, the Bible is relegated to a secondary role in mormon teachings. Twistianity is employed in an attempt to make Bible passages somehow appy to mormon teachings. The bom is NOT scripture, and has NOT been accepted as such by ANYONE outside your church. I'll ask again.. Where in the Bible did Jesus teach blacks had the mark of Cain? Where is the passage where Jesus spoke of His spirit brother satan?

  • @myway43 Where in the Bible did Jesus teach one MUST wear magic underwear for salvation? I can go on and on. So to say you follow Jesus and His teachings, is not true. You follow teachings that were NOT Jesus inspired. What do you know of my knowledge of the Bible? My faith is based on the Bible, and the Bible only. To say you have a true understanding is a lie. You know nothing other than the twisting of passages your church uses out of context, in an attempt to give mormonism legitimacy.

  • @theboofooguy I have stated my piece. There is a world of information on the net for you to research. So please do so, but try and keep your baseless attacks to yourself, it is annoying. Bye:)

  • @myway43 Where did Jesus teach blacks were unworthy? Where did Jesus teach the apostles secret handshakes, and tell them to wear magic underwear, and tell them not to drink wine or smoke? Where did Jesus order them to pay Him 10% so they could follow Him? Where did Jesus tell the apostles to only allow the "worthy" to come to him? Where did Jesus speak of "sealing" for time and eternity? NONE of this is Jesus inspired. It's all masonic, and from the lies of joe myth..

  • @theboofooguy Thats a lot of questions ,far too many for a Y.T. post. I tell you what go to a site by a man named Jeff Lindsay. He answers many of those questions rather satisfactorily in his blog. So there ya go, search for the answers yourself. you will find them if you are seeking earnestly. But it kind of sounds like ou have your mind already made up, too bad.

  • @myway43 Checked out the web site you suggested. The first paragraph in the heading describing the web site CLEARLY says it all. "There are impressive findings that make it difficult to explain away the BOM. SUCH EVIDENCE IS NOT "PROOF", BUT REPRESENTS INDICATIONS OF PLAUSIBILITY THAT DEMAND FURTHER ATTENTION." This means exactly what it says. There is nothing to prove the bom is true.. But they have some ideas that could possibly make it plausible.

  • @theboofooguy The very same thing is said about the Bible. It is attacked daily on the same premise. So which is it going to be? IS the bible indisputably the single word of God? Infallible? W/O error? Is it truthfully and historically accurate? By your own logic if one slight mistake is made, or one piece is wrong then the whole Book is wrong right? If the whole book is wrong then what? Hmmm? The Bible, the BOM, heck for all that matter goes all religious books are works of FAITH.

  • Comment removed

  • @myway43 Are you Christian or not? I find it offensive, that so called Christian mormons, when questioned on the authenticity of the bom, quickly turn atheist in an attempt to discredit the Bible. The Bible speaks of ancient cities and landscapes, that still exist to this day. The Bible has been used to help with information in archeological digs. Cultures, and languages from the Bible still exist to this day. Why can't ANY of this be said of the bom? Where is Zerehemla, and Bountiful?

  • @theboofooguy If you believe the Bible is infalliable then fine, stick w/ it. I would suggest that you do some real research on the Bible. I believe the Bible is the word of God on Faith. I don't need proof. But you keep looking for those signs.

  • @myway43 Where is the narrow strait of land with water to both sides? Where exactly did Nephi and his group land? If the hill cumorah is in New York, why are mormons trying to tie in the Mayan cultures of South America to joe and the bom. You comparing the Bible to the bom is not only blasphemous, it's ludicrous. These are unexplainable hurdles that mormonism cannot clear. The Jesus of my Bible was not a bigot or a racist. He didn't commune with satan, and ask that only the worthy come to Him.

  • @myway43 I have some ideas that can make Santa Claus"plausible." Are you truly willing to bet your salvation on this?Again incredible.I've said before..I was once told " Mormonism REQUIRES one to be a certain kind of stupid." I thought it was an extremely harsh assessment. I don't anymore. BTW.. Define "being good." To a killer, just beating you to a pulp would be considered "being good." At least he didn't kill you.. The Bible CLEARLY explains what is required of us.Take some time and read it.

  • @theboofooguy I have read the Bible clean thru and thru. Fact is you do not know anymore about the Bible than anybody else on Y.T., you just try to make folks think you do. You Don't impress me at all. You know how it works, there's smart....then theres Google smart. Unfortunately for you neither appears to apply.

  • @theboofooguy I have fully explained my position. You have not. I believe that Heavenly Father loves us enough that he sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. And thru Grace we are saved. However I do believe we have to do good works as well. I have the same beliefs as every other Christian does. It is people like you who kind of get you little kicks out of attacking other Christians w. your holier than thou schtick. I don't buy it. :)

  • @myway43 I don't claim to be holier than thou. I claim to be Christian. I claim to be a child of God, one of His sinners. I do my best on a daily basis, to keep His commandments. I KNOW I am saved by Jesus' great sacrifice. I KNOW the Holy Spirit infuses me, and guides me on a daily basis. I know God is a loving and nurturing God, who doesn't trade my salvation for 10% of what I make. These are the truths of Christianity, just as Jesus taught, and the Bible has recorded.

  • @theboofooguy Well know I have to say our little exchange here has taught me a couple of things. Ffirst arguing w/ someone like you is silly. You wil always be as closed mindeed as you are now. Secondly, I do not have to defend my faith from people like you at all at anytime. I have faith in my God, and Jesus Christ, and my scriptures, and my Church. Don't waste your time responding. You can move on now. God bless you

  • @myway43 I have only one response. You asked me to keep my baseless attacks to myself. I promise, with ALL my heart, I will NEVER question another mormon, and their beliefs. When they in turn can promise me, that your church will follow it's own 11th article, and allow ME to believe as I wish, and NEVER show up on my doorstep again, telling ME what I believe is wrong. Never give me another bom..( I have 3), and never give me their testimony of lies. You and I both know it will NEVER happen..lol

  • @theboofooguy Mark 16:15 says: "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature"; we take this commandment very seriously. Would you have us worship less than what we believe we should? Missionaries transfer in and out of an area and don't know that you may have been visited before; these are our sons and daughters, smile and say no thank you, they get it; feed them if you feel so inclined, but know that we are only trying to follow the commandments. :)

  • @myway43 I'm afraid it is you who needs to look beyond fairlds, and the lies your cult has taught you. Because you believe it, does NOT make it the truth..

  • @theboofooguy It is truth enough for me. Sorry you seem to be lacking

  • @myway43 You don't know what truth is. Again, if something is true as you claim, it will stand up to ANY scrutiny. joe, the bom, and the teachings of mormonism don't stand up to ANYTHING. My favorite quote by one of your former church leaders, pretty much sums up the mormon church. Elder Packard once said "some things that are true, just aren't useful." They're lying to you, they know it, and this is how they teach you to swallow these lies? Incredible..

  • i find it refreshing that "we" (meaning Mormons) seem to be always persecuted for spreading lies, and whatever else they want to say about us, and that's ok, persecution has always come with spreading the Gospel that how you know your right, Christ was persecuted for his testimony of His Father in Heaven, So were the prophet before him and prophet since His Atonement, if it were not so, why did they kill the Apostles? Joseph Smith? and many others

  • @miguelsndvl joe was killed because he was a pedophilic con man. Please don't compare this common criminal to the Apostles. The jw's go door to door spreading their brand of b.s. also. Just because you spread your particular brand of b.s. doesn't make you Christ like. You're NOT persecuted. You're questioned about your non Biblical beliefs. When all you have is your testimony of lies, you will be ridiculed. Don't make this into something Biblical. It isn't...

  • @theboofooguy .. exactly what non biblical beliefs are you referencing? and look up the meaning of RIDICULE and PERSECUTE and see the correlation.... and other than that, i think you make my point for me...

  • @miguelsndvl Hmm Please direct me to the passage in the Bible that explains why black men are "cursed." Can you direct me to the passage where Jesus speaks of His "spirit" brother satan. How bout the passage where Jesus speaks of His human bodied father Elohim.Maybe you can direct me to the passage that explains "garments. " How 'bout the passage that explains masonic symbols on temples and garments. If your church is based on Jesus and the Bible as you claim, this should be very simple.

  • @theboofooguy - i suppose that i accept all of what you just mentioned because i believe that this church is guided by god and through his prophet we are directed here on earth....Prophets existed in the past and it is the same today...

  • @miguelsndvl Prophets existed in the past. I believe in Timothy 3:14-16 which clearly states that everything we need for salvation has been presented to us by Jesus, and is written in the Bible. I further believe in Jesus' warning of false prophets that will come after him. Your church is full of them. NO prophet acts in the manner that your so called prophets have acted, and can still claim to be messengers of God. From joe, to briggy, to monson. They are false, and therefore NOT of God.

  • @miguelsndvl This is YOUR problem. Church is not first.. Jesus is. When the church and it's agenda become more important than the reason you're there, there is a problem. Christianity mimics the teachings of Jesus. Did Jesus teach bigotry? Did Jesus teach one must be "white and delightsom?" Did Jesus teach secret handshakes, and "secret names" for the resurrection? How many dead people did John The Baptist baptize? Just because you use Jesus in your name, does NOT make you Christian.

  • @theboofooguy - I recently heard one of your catholic representatives speak at BYU asking Mormons to join forces with them in defending "religious freedom in the public square" -Cardinal George is president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the first Chicago native to become archbishop of Chicago. He presides over 2.3 million Catholics in the Chicago Archdiocese....i suppose he came to "US" because his church is morally bankrupt.....its been a pleasure thanks..

  • @miguelsndvl Morally bankrupt? Who gave the mormons the inside line on morality?joe chasing and marrying other peoples wives. That's a perfect example of morality. The Catholic Church is actually used by the mormons to help in charitable associations. If you look up the top 100 charitable organization in the US, the Catholic Church has 16. The mormon church...Zero. The mormons are trying to use Catholic Charities to legitimize themselves in Christian circles. You should know this...

  • @miguelsndvl Ridicule is the base word for ridiculous. If I take off all my clothes and run down the street naked, I've acted ridiculously. Therefore,I may be ridiculed by my neighbors. If I was black prior to 1977 and wanted to receive the priesthood in the mormon church, and couldn't. It was because I was being persecuted. The black man did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to deserve this treatment. It was brought on by bigotry. Having ridiculous beliefs, and trying to pass them on, will encourage ridicule.

  • @miguelsndvl The fact that you try and parallel the meanings of these words tells me that your cult indoctrination of the we VRS them mentality is very strong. Either that, or English wasn't your strong suit in school. Either way, it illustrates how mormons try and play the persecution card, and use this as a method of pulling together against a common enemy, when in fact the enemy are the lies you're trying to defend.

  • @theboofooguy - well Ridicule means to humiliate, persecute means to cause suffering, if you do not see how humiliating someone can cause them suffering then that's ok... there is no "US Vs. Them" that's your mentality, so in your previous post i find that "i am indoctrinated" or "English was not my strong suit" that's the only two options for you to explain what i am saying, so i must conclude your hostile towards me , so thanks for the entertainment.. Have a good day...

  • @miguelsndvl Yes there is definately an us VRS them mentality. If there wasn't, we wouldn't have some of the lame things that have come from your church. My favorite is:" If you want to know the truth about mormonism, ask a mormon." Really? If I want to know the truth about a Ford, should I go to a Ford dealer? I know for sure he'll tell me they have the best cars on the road. But is his view objective. Just because he believes it, doesn't mean it's true.

  • @miguelsndvl I have NO hostility towards you personally. I don't even know you. But I do have have hostility toward the lying cult you defend. Since you choose to defend it, I am to assume you know WHAT you are defending. However, due to the nature of your church, and it's manipulation of truth, I find that ever increasingly more difficult to find those that know the truth about their own faith. When I present the truth, I'm called "anti." Call me a liar if I lie. But anti? It's just stupid..

  • @theboofooguy It's pretty sad to have people calling out Mormons as being liars and deceivers when we are taught to live Christ like lives. I'm around other Christian sects all the time, and they can not deny we are a good people as well. The church has taken a stance that the locations of the Book of Mormon are not known exactly. These videos are done by those who simply love the history. You are so bent on telling us we are liars. What i defend are the beliefs i live every day.

  • @Gaibriel1 Contrare my friend. I call the church liars, and those that defend it accomplices. I live in an area (75-80% mormon). These people are anything but Christ like. If you are not a member of their church, and you let them know you will not join, you are left out. From teachers and bus drivers, to the way one is treated at the local tire store. Christ like is Christianity... NOT joe like. Why does one HAVE to believe in joe in order to be a member of your faith. Is Jesus the center?

  • @theboofooguy seems like you have an issue with the people. That's fair, if you look at it from both points of view. Its fine for you to say you are the victim. you might be, i wouldn't know. but i don't live there, and people like you usually are just as un accepting as "we" are. I think you ought to listen to the general conferences that come on once or twice a year and listen to what the leaders of the church council us on, and judge our people against those systems of beliefs.

  • Is this the ancient Egip-shine?

  • The prophetic work of Joseph Smith rapidly unfolded as the Book of Mormon went "before the world."3 Joseph declared that "a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book."

  • A recent announcement declared that excavations in Rome within the last decade had uncovered the remains of the apostle Peter. But Peter's bones were not discovered in that excavation nor will they be in any other, for the resurrected Peter appeared to the Prophet Joseph Smith on the banks of the Susquehanna River 146 years ago.

  • On that sacred occasion the ancient First Presidency committed to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery the keys of the Melchizedek Priesthood that were to open a "dispensation of the gospel for the last times; and for the fulness of times." (See D&C 27:12—13.)

  • The presence of a bearded white deity, Quetzalcoatl or Kukulcan, in the pantheon of the Aztec, Toltec, and Maya has also been advanced as indirect evidence of Christ's visit to the New World. The deity is represented as a feathered serpent, and elements of his worship may have similarities to those associated with Christ's atonement.

  • Since Joseph Smith's day it has been demonstrated that literacy was widespread among pre-Columbian Mesoamerican peoples, dating back to at least 1000 B.C.

  • Don't judge this book by its cover or by what you might think you know about it. Take some time to read it. We have read it numerous times and are posting topics here to help you as you read. As Herbert Spencer once said, “There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance – that principle is contempt prior to investigation.”

  • The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible and is a record of God's dealings with His chosen people in the New World. The main purpose of the Book of Mormon is "to the convincing of Jew and Gentile that JESUS is the CHRIST, the ETERNAL GOD, manifesting himself unto all nations." (Book of Mormon Title Page) It was written by ancient American prophets for our day (Mormon 8:35) and is an American testament of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @LDS4Life71 His final line " Another testament to the book of mormon." Is THIS ALL you are taught? To lie, bear false witness, twist passages, and use Biblical passages out of context? If this isn't the devils work, I don't know what is. It's shameful the way this cult will try and "convince" the weak minded into their way of thinking. The truth, its the truth, and doesn't use propaganda. This is how we know mormonism is all lies.

  • Christ abandoned the church that turned away from biblical truths and adopted Hellenistic views of the pagan, and adopted the sign of the cross which is the pagan ankh of Horus. The church changed the baptism to infants, and never had any apostolic authority, because it fell out of God's grace in the 1st century after the twelve were martyred.

The church was restored, and founded by Jesus Christ.

    LDSdotORG

    for the truth

  • @LDS4Life71 In the Bible Christ clearly states that HIS Church will remain, and not even the gates of Haides can prevail against it. So either Jesus is a liar, or you are. And I already know that you are. Does God lie? Why would Christ start a Church, only to watch it fail? BTW... LDS.org is the most sanitized version of your cult I've ever seen. It's propaganda aimed at lost souls who have no knowledge of TRUE Christianity. That's why they fall to the twistianity mormons teach...

  • @theboofooguy The bible teaches that "not long after the passing of the apostles, shall ravenous wolves enter, not sparing the flock."

2 Thessalonians 2:3 For that day (2nd coming) shall not come except there come an APOSTACY or Falling away from the truth.

  • @theboofooguy The spirit of apostasy and the increasing influence of Hellenization contributed to a spiritual and doctrinal decline in the second and third centuries. According to this thesis, the result was that early Christianity, rooted in apocalyptic Judaism, was transformed into a synthetic blend of "Christianity" and pagan Platonic philosophy. The process of Hellenization was so severe that it literally killed the religion Christ founded and replaced it with something else.

  • @LDS4Life71 You keep regurgitating the same lame stupidity you church has indoctrinated you with. If I direct you to the truth, will you at least take the time to read it? I suppose it is much simpler to accept the devils account of things. BTW... Show me in the Bible where Jesus talks about his "brother" satan. Again...more joe crap that you dummies believe...

  • @theboofooguy Your pope got his authority which can be traced to Constantine of Rome. LOL some authority. Satan is your brother, and you are allot closer to Satan than anyone I know.

  • @LDS4Life71 No my friend. Check your theology. Peter was the first Pope, long before Constantine. BTW... Where is the proof of the authority of your church. Because joe said he had a vision. Talk about a joke. Prety convenient that the so called plates were buried in his back yard, yet no one saw them "with their own eyes". He ran one con after another, and bilked his congregation out of thousands. This is your salvation? I'd laugh, but you're serious...

  • @theboofooguy

YOUR QUOTE :Peter was the first Pope?

MY REPLY : Are you kidding me? Can you pelase show me where in the Bible the Title Pope is...can you show me where Jesus called Peter a Pope or where for that matter the office of Pope was ever scriptural? This is a Roman church title..it is NOT scriptural - PERIOD!! You are that crazy Catholic aren't you..this is anotehr account I see.

  • @theboofooguy

YOUR QUOTE :"Prety convenient that the so called plates were buried in his back yard, yet no one saw them "with their own eyes".

MY REPLY : um..yes there were witnesses to the Gold Plates..read the intro ot the Book of Mormon..and using that silly logic of yours..show me where the tablets are for the ten commandments...well? Yet you still believe in them..right?...silly little roman catholic

  • @theboofooguy

The Shema which is what Deut 6:4 is refering to would not recognize your trinity..as a matter of fact that is why the Jews and Muslims refer to the trinity as "polytheism"..no matter how you SPIN it..the trinity still says they are "three seperate GODS" but are connected by this non-biblical "essence" or "substance" thus making them really ONE GOD...sorry..but the Shema does not RECOGNIZE your 3-headed god.

  • @imtherealthing You, and Jeff Holland believe in a three headed god (jeffs words) As a Christian, I believe in ONE GOD, the Father, the almighty. HE manifests himself throught the Holy Spirit, and also through man as Jesus. SAME GOD. This is Straight up Christian. You on the other hand, say you don't believe in the Trinity, but call yourselves Christian. Which is it? Are you lying to people when you claim Christianity. It's the selling point your missionaries use to appear more mainstream.

  • @theboofooguy

Sorry..the trinity is a man-made doctrine..have you ever taken an early Christian studies course?..I mean..your ignorance is unbelievable...do you buy into everything your priest tells you?..have you studied this out for yourself? Obviously NOT. Go read up on the HISTORY of the trinity. As a matter of FACT..go read a book by a former nun...Karen Armstrong in her book called "A History of God" which gives us insight into the history of the TRINITY in that book for starters.

  • His order acknowledged in 2009 that he had fathered at least one child with a mistress, and it formally apologized to his victims in March 2010.

Boofooguy You're a liar in denial. Joseph Smith was a true prophet of Jesus Christ, and laid the Foundation Ephesians 2:20 with God's Authority of the Apostolic given him of the ancient commissioned apostles Peter James and John.

Revelations to Joseph Smith D&C 121 We are blessed everytime you persecute us.

see you in hell Satan follower

  • @LDS4Life71 The Boy Scouts of America call them "perversion files," internal documents used to track leaders suspected of sexually abusing young boys....Scouts released 1,247 files into evidence.... a 37 year old Oregon man who was sexually molested in the early 80's by assistant Scoutmaster Timur Dykes (former mormon) who was convicted 3 times between 1983 and 1994 for molesting scouts. Although there have been hundreds of lawsuits against the Boy Scouts over sexual abuse, judges for the (con)

  • @LDS4Life71 (con) most part have either denied requests for files, or the cases have been settled.Nate Marshall, a scout executive estimates 30% of men flagged between 1920 and 1935 had sexually abused Scouts. Earlier Friday, testimony from a bishop for the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints responsible for the scout troop of church members suggested the scouts never provided leaders with training about spotting abuse or preventing it. (con)

  • @LDS4Life71 In his video deposition, Gordon McEwen said he tended mostly to church duties, and was rarely involved with the scouts. He was also vague about his conversations with Earl Wiest about Dykes. McEwen stepped up involvement when a mother complained in Jan. od 1983, and confronted Dykes who admitted to abusing 17 boys and providing a written list of names. McEwen admitted he never called Police, but rather contacted parents and called a church meeting for the "disfellowship" of Dykes.

  • @LDS4Life71 To limit his church involvement and counsel him to "repent of his errors." Here's a guy that admitted he's a molester, and your church just tried to pay off anyone who came forward. They never relieved him of his duties, EVEN AFTER BEING CONVICTED! And you think your church is better? My Church was started by Christ himself. Who started yours? End of conversation...

  • @theboofooguy I totally think so. You're church is the abominable church of the devil. End of conversation...

  • @LDS4Life71 My Church is THE TRUE CHURCH JESUS started. Again, answer the question. Who started your church. It wasn't Christ, that's for sure. It was a pedophilic con man. The author and proprietor of the book you hold so dear. He has pulled the ultimate con on millions of dumb mormons. Just because YOU believe it, doesn't make itt true... Address the truth and the questions...quit trying to deflect the questions you CAN"T answer honestly..

  • @theboofooguy Jesus Christ started a church, but it fell apart in the 1st century.

YOUR church was started in the 4th century and it is NOT the same organization that Christ set up. NOT even marginally close.

    there's your honest answer AGAIN.

  • @LDS4Life71 The Church Jesus started IS what is known today as the Catholic Church. You better learn your theology. And it is the same organization. You can't answer honestly if you are ignorant to the truth. I personally think you are both ignorant, and a liar, so I don't take anything you say for face value. BTW... I can prove EVERYTHING I claim... Can you?

  • @theboofooguy No it isn't. I'm not ignorant nor a liar. You on the other hand ARE. The Catholic church is nothing more than a counterfeit church of smoke and mirrors. The church That Christ started had a foundation of 12 apostles with Peter as its head. They were killed and their authority didn't pass on . NO CHANCE of that! ZERO! The Foundation was REMOVED and the Church fell into Darkness.

    Isaiah 60:2

    Amos 8:11-12

    Changed the oridinance of baptism

    Isaiah 24:5

  • @LDS4Life71 I'll direct you to Timothy 3: 14-16 It clearly states that we have everything we need for salvation. This was long before the bom, joe, or any of the crap you try to push as a religion. BTW...you've quoted 3 verses. Not a one has ANYTHING to do with the Catholic Church. They are random verses your church teaches out of context, and try to use them to persuade the ignorant. Since you believe it, you are showing your ignorance. Read the passages in their entirety for the truth.

  • @theboofooguy

As for using any "journal of discourses" or such thing..shame on you..you know that LDS theology is only based on the following:

    The Bible

    The Book of Mormon

    The D&C

    The PofGP

And General Conferance talks that eventually get sustained as revelation to be binding on the saints (i.e. The Proclamation to the World)

These are called the STANDARD WORKS - and if it doesn't come from any of these..then it is just speculation and "theory" - not doctrine nor binding on the saints.

  • @imtherealthing No... the LDS theology is based on joe. That's it. joe is responsible for the "so long as it's translated correctly" clause as well as all the books you named. Also, why is your church the only one with prophets? The next clown in line is a prophet because he's been there a long time, and knows how the corporation is run. It's called succession, and happens in ALL businesses. LDS incorporated has zero to do with theology. It is a corporation.

  • @LDS4Life71 Wanna talk about your Boy Scouts? Of course not...

  • @theboofooguy LOL they aren't our Boy Scouts. At least our church handles it appropriately, and not like your church. Just covers it up, and shuffles the child molesters around.

  • @theboofooguy

    RE: Isa. 43:10

The Jews were first polytheistic then they shifted to henotheism then later into monotheism in the context of thier Babylonian captivity. In this CONTEXT it was the practice of the time in Babylon to have a community altar to put all the IDOLS which were "FORMED" (of wood/silver/gold) on this altar..Jehovah's idol also was put on this altar. Jehovah said that this should not be the case to put "BEFORE" HIM these FALSE gods.

That is the context. FALSE gods

  • @imtherealthing What sits on top of mormon temples? You are no different in that regard..

  • @theboofooguy The prophet Micah said "an ensign on the mountain tops would one day dot the earth, and all nations shall flow into it."

the temples dedicated to the LORD.

  • @theboofooguy

The CONTEXT of the SHEMA (Deut 6:4) is that they were not to follow after "FALSE" gods.

    Read Joshua 22:22

God is the God of gods...

Now is God the God of TRUE gods or FALSE gods?

  • @imtherealthing If you read and understand it as it is written, God has said He is THE ONLY God. He is a jealous God. False gods are those that come from kolob, and aspire to be gods themselves. This doctrine is beyond blasphemous, and show the true underbelly of the mormon faith. SELF EXALTATION!

  • @theboofooguy

    TRINITY

Here is a scholarly proof of your corrupted, man-made Trinity. The Encyclopedia Americana: "Christianity derived from Judaism and Judaism was strictly Unitarian [believing that God is one person]. The road which led from Jerusalem to Nicaea was scarcely a straight one. Fourth century Trinitarianism did not reflect accurately early Christian teaching regarding the nature of God; it was, on the contrary, a deviation from this teaching." -- (1956), Vol. XXVII, p. 294L.

  • @imtherealthing The encyclopedia Americana will define a cult, and then name the mormon church. Christianity is the belief in Jesus and his teachings. The mormons DEPEND on the ambiguity written into the First Testament to twist passages for their use. The new testament and Gospels about the life of Jesus remove many of these ambiguities. However, your church continues to try and convince it's members based on the Old Testament. Why? Because then it seems that they have the answers.

  • @theboofooguy

YOUR QUOTE :"The encyclopedia Americana will define a cult, and then name the mormon church."

MY REPLY : excuse me?...you are not playing with a full deck and are a liar. I have a copy right here in front of me..nowhere is this true..again..will you continue to lie? Is this a character trait of a catholic? I know it is..for I was once one - that is why I left it...how can you believe in all that garbage? A preist with gold gilded robe..drinking out of a gold cup (Euchrist), etc.

  • @theboofooguy

The New Encyclopedia Britannica: "Neither the word Trinity, nor the explicit doctrine as such, appears in the New Testament, nor did Jesus and his followers intend to contradict the Shema in the Old Testament: (Deut. 6:4). . . The doctrine developed gradually over several centuries and through many controversies . . . By the end of the 4th century . . . the doctrine of the Trinity took substantially the form it has maintained ever since." -- Micropædia, Vol. X, p. 126. (1976)

  • @theboofooguy

On the devil-inspired doctrine of the “Trinity”

The deity of Jesus Christ was decided upon by a vote . A few hundred church leaders gathered at Nicea in 325 AD. to vote on the matter. (the vote was loaded, because most of the opposing bishops were either KILLED or EXHILED or excluded!) Representation for the TRUTH about the Godhead was allowed by only a small fraction of those TRUE Christians...we lost the TRUTH then to the pagan trinity of man.

  • @imtherealthing The Trinity is an attempt to explain God for the lay person. It was decided at the conference you mentioned, that this was the best method to explain it. A young Friar actually coined the phrase, and it was accepted. It is merely a generic term. It is however, a Christian Only concept, and is not accepted by non Christians. You are showing you true colors by dismissing this theology, and attempting to replace it with joes theology.

  • @theboofooguy

Silly man..the Godhead was debated for "CENTURIES" because most thought it was three GODS but they needed to explain it in the context of Judasim. That was thier problem..for Judaism had only accepted complete monotheism in thier captivity in Babylon. Had those people then known what we know today of the history of the Judaism's shift from Polytheism to Henotheism and then much later into Monotheism they would not have errred in making the trinity..silly man.

  • @theboofooguy

Why do you not answer my questions..but instead revert to making silly quips really about nothing . All you are doing is spewing ignorant "opinions" rather than address the issues at hand..for example..answer the following question: "Where does one find the words "essence" or "substance" or "nature" in any of the ORIGINAL languages of the Bible in the Bible to support this supposed connection between your trinity?..well?<-- your "trinity" stands or falls on this.

  • @imtherealthing Because you decide what Christian Trinity stands on? Who's being absurd? You can debate the origins all you want. We are in the here and now. Bottom line... Are YOU Christian, or aren't you? YOU answer the question. You can't have it both ways. You continue to try and dazzle with a non relevant history lesson. Come clean...YOU ARE NOT CHRISTIAN! and either is you church. Silly boy....

  • @theboofooguy

    Book of Mormon

    2 Nephi 33:6

“I glory in plainness; I glory in truth; I glory in my Jesus, for he hath redeemed my soul from hell.”

  • @imtherealthing regarding th bom. Hitler said it best: " The best lie is one that contain enough truth to be taken whole heartedly." This is the lie the mormons preach. Yes, Jesus is in the name of their church. Yes, Jesus is in their bom. Yes, Jesus is in the Bible they use as a secondary reference. But the truth is, your church is based on joe. You claim him a prophet, yet treat him with god like status. NO other church in the world does this with anyone, but Jesus. Now the truth has been told

  • @theboofooguy

Well..why did you lie about the encyclopedia Americana saying that "mormonism" is called a cult?..your credibility was in question immediately before, but now it is shown to be completely thrown out..for liars cannot be trusted.

  • @theboofooguy

    Acts 7:54

“When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.”

  • @imtherealthing Let's get to mormon theology. Are you going to be a god of your own planet one day? Will you have many wives and create millions of "spirit children" for your new world? Will your goddess be at your side since you were sealed for time and eternity? Where will the rest of your wives come from since your church says they believe marriage is between a man and a woman. You gonna marry your buddies wives like joe did? Are blacks going to be allowed? Or do they still carry the "curse"

  • @theboofooguy

Now ..now..we showed everyone here you are a liar..and I answered some of your questions..don't try to use the old tactic of overshadowing the questions I posed to you in the dozens below by your asking more questions because you fear answering them - that's not going to fly...I promise to answer them..but first answer ONE of my questions...let's stick to that first..where are the words "essence" or "substance" or "nature" in the Bible?..well?

  • @imtherealthing I'm answering your question....WHAT DOES IT MATTER? It is mans attempt to explain God as the Bible has written it. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?

  • @theboofooguy

Answer the question please. Can you show me where "in the Bible" the words "pope" or "substance" or "essence" or "nature" are? It matters not if you think these are not important..this is CRITICAL to your theology..if they cannot be found "in the Bible" then your nicene god cannot be found "in the Bible"..understand? Nor can one say that God created the office of "pope"..but I'll tell you one thing.."prophets and apostles" ARE found in the Bible..like we have in Christ's church

  • @imtherealthing I could care less of your degrees. Your beliefs taint your ability to reason, and look at information objectively. Please take the time to resource the following Bible passages, and then explain to me how there is more than one god as your church teaches. John 10:30, 17:22 Mark 12:29 Isaiah 37:20 43:10 44:6 44:8 45:5 45:14 45:18 45:21 46:9 Deut. 4:35 4:39 32:39 6:4 These are all passages declaring the existance of ONE GOD and ONE GOD Only. How does one explain (con)

FALSE gods

  • @theboofooguy

All those sources you quote are nothing NEW..do you seriously think I was not aware of those? Compare those FEW scriptures with the ENTIRE Bible where you see "Jesus" say things like "My Father is Greater than I"..or "I go to MY God and YOUR God" or when we see Stephen being stoned to death and he looks up and sees BOTH the Father and the Son, or at Jesus' baptism ALL THREE were present etc, etc..in context those ONE God scriptures refer to the Father - that is who we pray to.

  • @imtherealthing (con) the three personages. The best man and his feeble mind can do is the Trinity. Can you grasp this, or are you too educated, and are those degrees getting in the way of your reasoning? BTW.... Education has zero to do with reasoning. You can study something all your life, and still not learn a thing. Try to dazzle someone else with your degrees... I'm not impressed..

  • @theboofooguy

YOUR QUOTE :"The best man and his feeble mind can do is the Trinity"

MY REPLY: besides you not answering my questions again..your comment above is quite silly and contrary to what the Lord revealed to us... God is NO "mystery" as we learn in John 17:3..it is "LIFE ETERNAL" to "KNOW" them..so if you do not know who they are..do you have eternal life?..you just admitted like most trinitarians..that it is a mystery...yet you contradict God's word - it is LIFE ETERNAL to know them.

  • @theboofooguy

How can GOD send himself as "The Only "Begotten"?..did he "beget" himself?

What about Being the "First born"..was he the first born of himself?..I thought there was no begining for God?

God the Father + God the Son + God (HS)

EQUALS "ONE GOD" according to trinitarianism...so let's add that up again:

    1+1+1 = 1...lol. silly trinitarians

  • @theboofooguy

Why is it that false christianity needs analogies like an egg, a triangle, or water in its three phases to EXPLAIN thier 3-headed god?..can you point to just ONE place in the Bible where ANY of the prophets or apostles use these very analogies or ANY analogies for that matter to explain the GODHEAD?..well?

Guess your "god" is not found in the bible huh?

  • @imtherealthing Your gods are not... Refer to my PM..

  • @theboofooguy

I replied to your PM with a PM of my own.

  • @imtherealthing He Can't do it. All he does is deny deny deny. You and I know he will be wishing he thought better of J. Smith while in mortality when he reaches spirit prison. 1 Peter 3:19

  • @imtherealthing I took to the time to repost the posts he marked as spam, like the idiot troll in denial that boofoo is!

  • @LDS4Life71 You sin against God...Period. A sin is a sin. Your church claims god was once man. If man is good he can be a god of his own planet. Why does this planet need 3 gods? Elohim can't handle his own stuff by himself? Keep trying to deny the Bible and use you book of lies as a replacement.

  • @theboofooguy

Here we go again..you liar..you know I had already discussed this with you and like the typical anti-mormon liar..you again go about preaching lies against the church even though you have had the information provided to you by "ME"..the ONLY LIAR I see here is "YOU" by your continious and purposeful and decietful lies. You got from me what our official position is to this question you are re-gurgitating...ie. "Your church claims god was once man." - SHOW ME the SOURCE.

  • @theboofooguy

YOUR QUOTE : "Why does this planet need 3 gods?"

MY REPLY : Take it up with the Godhead as I showed you and others can read below..that your TRINITY is a man made doctrine and based on lies..that is why you believe in it..because you love lies more than you love TRUTH. Again..show me where the words "essence" or "substance" or "nature" are in the Bible to show this connection your nicene god has between "its three PERSONS" - in ONE God..as the trinity teaches..well?

  • @theboofooguy

YOUR QUOTE: "Elohim can't handle his own stuff by himself?"

MY REPLY: I can't believe you are 46 years old..you are not only ignorant of LDS theology and your own theology, but you also blasphemy the Lord with this immature comment... just keep hanging yourself..as I can also provide our PM's to any who are interested who want to read for themselves your level of immaturity and the anger you have..grow up.

For all sincere seekers of the LORD please read the comments below

  • @theboofooguy

YOUR QUOTE :"Keep trying to deny the Bible and use you book of lies as a replacement."

MY REPLY : Another example of your immaturity..and ignorance of LDS theology..if you truly understood what the saints of God thought of the Lord's scriptures and the love they have for them ...your ignorant comment you made here would not have been made.

  • @LDS4Life71 BTW... I called the museum in temple square and spoke to a "guide" who then let me speak to her "superior," She told me "at this time there is NO display of a box which contained the plates" However, she said she's been told the church has a box they think might be the box, and it is being examined by "scholars" to prove it's authenticity. SO, AGAIN, JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHERS... YOU LIE!! JUST LIKE YOUR CHURCH... A church, and it's members who MUST lie cannot be of God..

  • @theboofooguy

You are the liar and I proved it..so do you want to go another round and be further exposed for your lies?..well do you? Low life..flag my comments as the coward you are. Your level of maturity is so typical of your kind..just ignorance and "opinion" and anger that drives you.

  • @LDS4Life71 You've been exposed, just as your church has... LIAR! Keep bearing false witness... Keep lying for the Lord... Your church does it all the time... And I'm the troll? Loser..

  • @theboofooguy

You have got some serious anger issues..as anyone who wants to see they can PM me because I have copies of the conversations I had with theboofooguy..so you can see both his comments and mine..and judge for yourselves. For I will not bare false witness as he does..I can support all my comments with PROOF.

  • @theboofooguy

The Holy Ghost teaches us TRUTH ...it is revelation..we are instructed by a member of the Godhead..not by man's own learning..we LDS put our trust in God. How would you try to show a Moslem that the Bible is the WORD of GOD?..one would need to have him/her READ it and PRAY about it..and it would be GOD in the end by the Holy Spirit that would convert that person..as is the case with the Book of Mormon.

People like you are a by-product of your society and your prejudice

  • @theboofooguy

Tell me ..how do “YOU” know that the eye witness accounts as found in the Bible about God from prophets and apostles are true and accurate – EXPLAIN how you know this to be true. Can you quantify this with any proof?

That is the exact same question posed to the Latter-day Saints when anti-mormons deny that the modern prophets and apostles are not who they claim to be. I know the prophets and apostles of the Bible are what they claim by the Holy Ghost.

  • @LDS4Life71

Looks like he loves to flag your comments too..how truly pathetic..so he flags scripture now..let his fruits bare witness against him.

  • @imtherealthing I'm the angry one? Get a grip dude. Keep trying to defend the lies. I've exposed you both for what you are.. Liars. You don't deny that there are NO plates, and are NO boxes as claimed. You lie. I'm not angry in the least. I'm amused by your stupidity. You make claims and try to use your degree to justify them, rather than true sources. Keep digging, it is you and your cronies that are desperate and angry. I'm just enjoying watching you squirm in your cess pool of lies.

  • @theboofooguy No man we're not catholics. That's is what you do.
