@madisonpow Jean Shepherd IS the Author, that is what I am saying, he is not the CO-author! I grew up in the Calumet Region, and only there would they call him co-author!

Only in Hammond would they call Jean Shepherd the CO-AUTHOR of 'A Christmas Story'! What is wrong with you people?
@AYearAtTheWheel he is the co-author.i live there, and went there in 2008 and yesterday. jean sheperd lived there.
