This was tried in one spot in America - Lancaster, California - but complaints from drivers resulted in the musical road being paved back over.

One can't help but feel this is somehow indicative of the American mentality today: a tremendous aversion to anything new or different, especially when it's something that's somehow "imposed" on you.
whether one likes or not the idea, it is still very original and shows how Japan is special in so many ways we don't even realize :)

It's not argument per se. It's one side saying terrible things and the other side acting in self defense of his/her country. The Korean guy/girl never said like "Korea is the best" or anything, it's just that liuguoyu jumped in out of nowhere. But yes, you're right. I'm sorry but you must be confused with some other country, actually, Japan makes some of the most fuel efficient cars in the world, and the fact that they are making electric cars, doesn't say anything to you? There's bad things like everywhere else in the world, but they are actually very honorable, and don't need to cause wars to make money, or steal others oil, I can honestly say they are admirable, so are each and every country in the world for at least something they did well.

Neither. The South Koreans first implemented this feature in their highways in accident prone areas to help drivers stay alert. From what I understand, we started doing this since mid to late 90's.

The odds of you successfully arguing your way out of this is stacked against you. First and foremost, you must define "loser". Even when you do, you have to justify what makes YOUR definition valid. Then, you must link that term with solid examples to display why it's even worth arguing about. Do you know what I did today? I met with my girl friend and we went to see a traditional Korean musical. Afterwards, we drove to Han river and took a nice walk while discussing our plans of the future. I called my parents and congratulated them on their 30th anniversary. My brother, who is a surgeon in New Jersey at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, called me and announced that his wife is pregnant. I'm going to be an uncle =) Then my gf and I went to drink some yuja cha at a cafe.
