  • Thank you Annette. Yes the pain subsided but I have nerve damage and my feet tingle all day long and while I try to sleep and in the waking hours. Dr. tested for everything and said it was the inserts!

  • DO NOT BUY THESE IINSERTS! I ACTUALLY DEVELOPED SEVERE PAIN IN MY FEET AFTER 3 MONTHS. The doctor thought my pain was related to possible diabetes 2. It was not, and it was later discovered it was my walkfit inserts that was causing SEVERE foot pain.

  • @FemaleOpinion

I am so sorry to hear that. Has the pain subsided since you stopped using the product? If not, I'm hoping it will.

    All the best,

    Annette

  • I put off a year deciding if I should order them. Finally I gave in due to back pain. Damn infomercial made it seem to be the answer I needed. Ordering off the web did not seem ligit. I did not get a total or invoice. So i had to call and found out the $10 s&h. Damned again. Anyway these thing hurt BAD. It's like walking on tennis balls. They just force your feet to form a arch. Reminds me of old Chinese foot binding. I definitely felt entrapped with returning them. I would have to fork out mo

  • @bipolii

So sorry to hear what you went through but I know what EXACTLY what you're talking about. I ordered from the company by phone and the woman tried to sell me "everything under the sun" in addition to the inner soles and copped an attitude when I said: "I just want the Walk fits". I returned mine and by the time I tallied up the loss, it cost me more than the innersoles cost in shipping both ways. Plus I had to call them 3 times about my refund. Took 6 weeks. Bad company.

  • thanx for the info!!!!!!!!

  • @karmonlea

    Your welcome.

  • how long do they last

  • holy shit, thanks so much. i remember seeing the infommercial, recommending these to my mom. i was on the verge of ordering them for my mother, but forget it now. you seem so real too, i'll take your word for it. i WILL look up other reviews but this, what you're saying, sounds way too true.

  • Thank you for your comment. Glad you found the video a help. I have heard of others who had a good experience with them. I hoped that I would have been one of them but wasn't.

Bottom line to me was: when a product is targeted to people with foot problems and then, when you try them and they hurt so much that you call customer care to ask why, and they tell you that if you have foot problems, maybe Walkfit is not for you, that is deception plain and simple.

All the best to you and your Mom

  • @justplainpissed

Not called deception. in this country it's called business as usual. lol.

  • @TeslaDRay

    Yup. Sad but true.

  • @TeslaDRay lolx i bought it once never more....... i'll stick to dr. scholls

  • @SuperKingNova

Sorry to hear it. Yeah, I'm using Dr. Scholls now too. And that other brand they sell at Rite Aid which slips my mind right now.

  • You are very welcome, and very sweet of you for taking the time to make this very helpful video :D

    Best regards/Bernice

  • Jesus, I almost fell for that :( thank you soooooo very very much. Now, if you had to get your feet use to them, why didnt that happen to any of the ladyes that went shopping with them? miraculously all of them could use them?

Sneaky little worms :( anyway... thanks alot, and sorry you had to pay and go trough all that to only get disapointed :(

Hope you find something that works... :)

  • What a kind and considerate comment. Thank you for caring. Glad you found the video helpful. As for me, I'm still shopping around. I really wished these things worked. Isn't it interesting that these things are no longer in the stores. Wonder why? Hum?!

    All the best to you,

    Annette

  • I have to say, I have spurs and i walk all day, Pain all day but I have found that the original work better for me than the platinum. I hope you found relief somewhere.

  • Glad they worked for you. And thank you for your kind wishes.

    All the best,

    Annette

P.S. I just watched your "Dada" video. Brought a tear to my eye. Very lovely!

  • @riceofman My father had spurs on his heals many years ago. I went online to search for a possible remedy. I read some testimonies that a product called Coral Calcium healed bone spurs. I went on the popular auction site ebay and purchased a bottle. My father began taking it. Lo and behold, after only three weeks the spurs were gone. To this day they have never returned. Please give it a try! God bless you!

  • Real decent of you to put this info here. I'll look into it. Thank you.

    God Bless you too.

    Annette

  • the same thing hapened to me, I caled and they told that if a have problem on my feet the walk fit was not made for me.

  • Thanks for posting that. So I'm not the only one. Also didn't like the way the company did business. When I called to order, they threw this offer and that offer at me until I finally said: "I just want the Walkfit!" Then the sales person had an attitude for the rest of the call. Good thing I got a tracking number when I returned the package so I knew when they got it back. A month later, there still was no refund. Had to call twice to get it. Took almost 3 mos.

  • I guess it would be right to say they do work for some. I've had a pair and they really worked for me. I lost them in a move and so I tried the Dr Scholls custom fit and my left foot started hurting worst. These like the Dr Scholls both probably work for certain people. Along with these inserts, a lot of what probably goes into play in the persons weight and especially the shoes they choose to wear. So in my case, $20 is better that $50 for Dr Scholls. Plus either one is better than $300

  • They may have sold 5 million of these thing but they are the worst shoe inserts I have ever put in my shoe. Do you want Extreme foot pain? 5 million suckers wasted their money trying something that doesnt work

  • I know what you mean. These infomercials usually boast the sales numbers but not the satisfied customers numbers.

  • I always wondered about those. Thanks for your review!

  • Hello, I am not a spokesperson for walkfit. However, I have foot problems including plantar fascitis & heel spurs. My podiatrist recommended a pair of 300 $ orthotics (not covered by health insurance). I tried the walkfit. It was uncomfortable for about 3 or 4 days. I have kept them & wear them everyday & they have really helped my condition. Maybe they aren't for everybody. I guess it's a trial an error thing. But I rather gamble on a 20 something dollar orthotics than on a pair costing 300.

  • Those were two of my problems also. I'm happy that you found relief.

  • hmmmm....

maybe they do work for other people...?

I just baught them last night and I wore them all day. My feet are not in pain, my knees are not in pain, and my lower back feels fine. There was some uncomfort, and still is. I believe it IS a gradual process, and will work itself out and I will begin to get used to it. They are deffinately working though, keep trying also there is a vid on here on how you can MAKE them comfortable. I don't believe they are a scam, just not forevery1

  • Yeah, it seems to go both ways in the reviews. Some love um some hate um. Glad they are working out for you.

  • I got some custom made orthotics a year or two back since everything else I tried didn't work. They sent me a foot imprint kit to imprint my feet in. So I sent it back, and a while later I got some orthotics that were phenomenal, made out of some sort of metal, custom made to my feet. Supposedly they were made over it Germany. If I can recall the company name, I'll let ya know.

  • Nice of you. Thanks.

  • Just recalled it. It's called Featherspring made by Luxis international. They'll send you a free fitting kit, and you mail it back to them.(It really is free.) They'll create a custom orthotic and mail it to ya. Mine are made out of metal and I'm still using 'em. Only thing I needed to do was replace the pads on the bottom that keep 'em from moving around in the shoe, though. It's kept me up on my feet all day without much discomfort.

  • Thanks for the info. Really nice of you to take the time to post this for me and for others. I'll look into it.

    All the best,

    Annette

  • Use Asperin(sp?) or Advil during the break-in process to ease the pain. I just toughed it out and wore them all day until my feet stopped hurting. It only took about a week for me. They really do help alleviate knee, back and hip pain and correct poor posture. If you find these too hard, try the Birkenstock 3/4 length footbeds. They are a but softer and are available in sizes and wide and narrow widths. I have been wearing them since my first pair of Phase 4/Walkfits wore out.

  • my 2 cents: I got them and the instructions said the "breaking in" process takes like 3 weeks and to only wear them for 15min a day and gradually increase. during that 3 weeks, some days my feet really hurt like HELL that I couldn't even walk. however.. after the 3 weeks, my feet got use to them and I never got any lower back or foot pain again. I stopped using it because you can't wear them when your playing sports (uncomfortable).. for just walking and standing, it did work (for me though)

  • Glad to hear they have been helping you.

  • Appreciate the testimony, i had a feeling it was all hyperbole wrapped in a sweatshop. You just saved me time and money, cheers.

  • Glad it was of help.

    All the best,

    Annette

  • I know what you mean, they hurt, check my solution in my video. Also i bought them on ebay for about 9bucks. i avoid the stinking business ways of some and cc hassles.

  • I watched your video. Great idea. Very cleaver work around. I posted a comment on your video but also wanted to post one here too. Maybe someone from here will check out your solution and be helped.

  • So can any one tell me if it is working for them cuz my heels hurt really bad from standing too long and also if i get em from CVS or Bed&bath beyond do they come with everything they are offering online.

    Thnx!

  • WalkFit Platinum,, LLC is a scam.

It also ripped big time in shipping charges

and products were junk from China.

Please advised: Do not trust any TV commercails at all.

  • I know. I bought two pairs from them. One for me and one for my husband. $15shipping. And it bugged me that a few weeks after I ordered them from the company (and was STILL waiting for the package) that they came into CVS for $19.99 a pair. I still would have returned them both, but would have just had to go right around the corner and would have gotten all my money back rather than loosing all that money on shipping charges both ways.

  • i got mine at Bed Bath Beyond for 19.99

  • So do u like em is it working for u..

  • I got ripped off huge by this company! All the people that answer the customer service phone calls are from another country so you cant understand them, and they barley understand you! I had to call my credit card company to dispute chardes from walk fit on my credit card. Never buy there products big rip off!!!

  • Sorry to hear that. My first impresson was something shady going on there. The agent kept throwing product after product in my face which I kept saying "no" to. After I said "no" she reduced the price to half of what she originally asked. After 10 minutes of this, I finally said "Just the Walkfits please". And after returning the product I had to call them 3 times. Took over 2 months to get it. Those first impressions we're so inclined to dismiss? I'm not so quick to dismiss 'em anymore.

  • It took over 2 months to get the refund that is.

  • Yeah, the camera was dropped between my Dell review and this review. Bummer. Might be a trip to Staples for me.

  • I really had to turn my speakers up to hear this.

  • Sorry.
